Why do I like everything Sonic-related except for his games?

Sonic should just temper Eggman over a gentle heat, while adding some cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla to milk, before combining the two. Wee bit of cream and some rum and we’d have Dr Eggnog.

@HotGoomba___Rebrand Because for the past ten years the games have been garbage (not counting mania) at having the same charm as everything else Sonic.

@MakkaroniOni First of all, there were no 3D games this decade. There were 2D games with 3D sections, but there hasn't been a 3D Sonic game since 2006. And second, I phrased that wrong. Games like Colors and Generations had tons of charm in the level design and gameplay, I'm mostly talking about the stories and writing. Also, I generally don't like 2D Sonic, which kind of changes this message, i'm not a classicist.

@MakkaroniOni That game was the most devoid of effort out of any Sonic game. I call it the worst Sonic game ever created. At least 06 tried.
