I knew this was going to happen just wish they would have added a skin coustomizer in the game.

That’s incredibly impressive in such a short period of time. It’s obvious when you think about it, they all share the same rig, it’s just the skin that’s different. IIRC, back in the day, Minecraft just exported skins as a flat image due to this very concept.

1) This site isn't in any way an "official" Nintendo site. It is essentially a fan site. The closest they get to official is reviewing games on Nintendo hardware.
2) If Nintendo really wants something gone, their lawyers will handle it. We've seen it countless times before. In a lot of cases, they take down things that aren't really causing any problems however it is their brand so it's respectable.
3). Honestly why are you so upset about this? I love Nintendo, I think it's a great company but honestly do you think they need you reporting an article about a modding community I'm sure they are very aware of and quite possibly could be considering dealing with at this moment. The richest company in Japan I am very sure has plenty of great, great lawyers. Honestly you gotta be out of your mind to think that Nintendo needs a random dude tattling on someone for publishing an article about a mod on a fan site.

I really don't want to sound like a jerk but c'mon, if you really care at least target pirates or hackers instead of someone who wrote an article about a mod a different person made

@nessisonett That's not just a Minecraft thing. Most character textures in any game are stored on a single flat image. Check out Sims or Elder Scrolls mods some time if you're curious.

On the infintessimal chance Nintendo makes something like this official, we should be able to import data from other games with avatar stars (Pokémon Trainer, Robin, Villager, Corrin, Inkling, Byleth).

This is a awesome thing that lets people implement their Minecraft skin near seamlessly without too much hassle, there's even a loadout GUI for multiple skins. Then you get THAT guy being a fanboy being a party pooper for some company that just wants your coin anyway. Just like the article Damien did for when homebrew users got crashing issues with the 35th Anniversary Collection and in Ryan's article "Nintendo Wins $2 Million In Lawsuit Against Switch Piracy Hack Store",. You target whether they should be reporting these things and see it as unprofessional material that shouldn't be on here.

This is a really cool idea, Nintendo can probably implement this if they could but I guess there would be a lot of inappropriate art that they would have the hassle to moderate.

Doubt they would add any more modes into this game. Plus the only version of Minecraft on switch is bedrock. (Would be cool, but it would read off your game save file and that may require more work then needed on their part... Etc)

Steve in smash uses the exact same texture format as Minecraft Java. other than the eyes which are in their own polygon for blinking, you can just paste a skin onto steve or alex and it will work. though it's easy to just remove the blinking
however, the game doesn't have a full 2nd layer, only Alex has a partial one. we're working on a true full template for MC skins.

This is true. On her Scottish skin, she has a 2nd layer on her head, but only the actual layer is modeled. Enderman is also a new model. Check out the Smash Ultimate Gamebanana or Modding discord if you wanna learn more.
