Animal Crossing is too powerful. Nothing can kill it.
@HotGoomba maybe Super Mario 3D All Stars can, altough most people probably want to get this game physical
Glad to see Ni No Kuni getting its deserved attention. For anyone who hasn't seen, this fantastic RPG is now at 15 US Dollars, down from its usual 50.
@ryancraddock mans bio be turbo relateable
@Peteykins It seems to be really popular in Japan. It's frequently charted in the top 5 ever since its release.
"any games that were on sale during the period are appropriately labelled (thanks, Perfectly Nintendo)"
Not exactly? There's only one labeled but plenty more went on sale.
@ryancraddock
Just among the ones I know of/could find:
Obakeidoro was 30% off https://topics.nintendo.co.jp/article/6512c71b-db07-4eaa-88c4-bee78b7fdd6d
Layton was 77% off, Ni no Kuni was 75% off https://news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/4e4a4dee302a86889800cffc4e0e319a65887506
Splatoon was 30% off, Luigi's Mansion was 30% off https://game.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/1268900.html
Dead by Daylight was 34% off http://dlgamesale.blog.jp/archives/54933782.html
Gear Club Unlimited was 93% off http://dlgamesale.blog.jp/archives/54874977.html
But there may be even more.
@mariomaster96
I see the appeal of getting it psyical but I managed to get about 25% off digital so I went with that
I bought 2 online voutures for £84 then used my 1126 gold coins to get 11.26 off maked my 2 online voutures cost £72.74
I then used 1 vouture to pre-order all stars 3D and the other 3D world
Concidering both gave sell for £50 each on the E-Shop for £100 total I saved £27.26 in total
This make way more sence to me than to buy up the game psyically
Wow, Splatoon 2 at number 3. Look what a couple splatfest can do, even if they are reruns.
@Chlocean I hope Europe gets this discount as well, will absolutely buy it
@ctc78 Europe doesn't have it at the moment? That is unfortunate. I was throwing the notice up here just in case it was happening there too.
@ritouf Well Pokemon aren't evergreen titles unlike games like Mario Kart, Smash etc. Most likely because they release a new pokemon game almost every year whereas games like MK or Smash get only one entry per console
That being said I'm sure SwSh will be back in the list once The Crown Tundra releases
@Peteykins I haven't played it myself. I think it's supposed to be really good fun when playing with others.
I think it's success in Japan, might be to do with their sense of humour. They have those kind of slapstick gameshows where they wear silly costumes and try to complete tasks. Reminds me a little of Human Fall Flat.
That's just a pure guess though haha
