Stardew Valley keeps growing and the next patch on the way is version 1.5. We got a minor update about it last month when the creator ConcernedApe teased new end-game content and shared an image of a new door behind Willy's counter.
Now, the one-person team has shared a minor but rather exciting detail. In the next update, you'll be able to move your bed!
As you might have guessed, this has raised a lot of questions. Does moving your bed mean you'll be able to completely relocate it? ConcernedApe hasn't shared any other details about it at the moment, so we'll just have to wait and find out.
Are you excited for the next Stardew Valley update? Have you always wanted to move your bed? Tell us down below.

ConcernedApe as always delivers the goods. Still plugging away, improving an already great game.
It's just like in real life!
Revolutionary. Absolutely groundbreaking.
Can I move it to the chicken coop?
This is bed-making done right. I can’t stand when I play Skyrim that my bed is fixed. I can shout people off cliffs WHY CANT I SHIFT THE BED.
Truly revolutionary gameplay.
I literally just did that in real life 5 minutes ago. Weird.
Anyway really looking forward to the next update, Friends of Mineral Town just isn't as nice.
@Yanina Does your bed, um, get moved often?
I tried to go back to the game after 2+ years to try v1.4 but couldn't get back into it. Oh well, I only spent 140h on this game after buying it
So instead of adding couch co-op they add a patch to move your bed???? Wow just wow.
One of the best games I’ve ever played, and this is one of the funniest updates I’ve heard of, lol. Bravo ConcernedApe, bravo!
Scintillating.
Still no split screen?
I moved my bed once. There was things there...
Finally, sleeping on the go
I still hope for a local co-op support on a single console.
@Priceless_Spork Bunny magazines right? 😉😂
@Dm9982 the special Angora Rabbit issue of Farmer's Weekly. With the care tips poster.
@Dm9982
Bunny mags? yeah, I have a subscription to Thumper .
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!
Stupid addictive farm simulator.
😉
@Tasuki That's not the only thing in the update. He said he is adding a bunch of late game content.
@Priceless_Spork The Bunny mags are classy, and have a nice “Hugh”. Rabbit Rustler is a bit too risqué fur my tastes.
Gonna spend hours on this feature alone.
I have only 1 thing to say: Amazing!
Not sure I like this news, there's monsters under that thing...worst than whats in Skull Cavern.
Bought on sale but haven't played it yet. I'm waiting for a gap when I can dive in. But given my preference for large open world games I feel it'll be some time before I can commit
I’m not asking for it because that’d be selfish, but I wish you could grow old in Stardew Valley and then play as your child. I know there are logistics to that, but I’d love to see villagers pair off, marry, have children, move in with each other.
@LUIGITORNADO I like that idea. After 100 hours in Stardew Valley, I fell off because I completed the three year plan and the community center was complete. It is a great game, especially considering having one developer. That said, maybe a future sim game can incorporate that mechanic to add even more playability.
@dugan I really enjoyed watching everyone age in Another Wonderful Life
@LUIGITORNADO everyone except Gustafa, who is a vampire.
And Romana and Galen, who are immortal beings. (Or maybe they’re sucking the life force out of your character, which is why s/he dies so young)
Does this mean that I can have a sleep over at the pub now instead of going home every night?
I was kinda hoping for more information than what the subtext of the article said already. I also need to know the specifics of moving your bed like:
@Tasuki I can get behind local coop (only the Switch has it) but did you really have to be so negative? Especially with that "wow just wow".
This isn't the only thing in the patch anyway.
Will he update the app as well?
so now he can move the bed, so the ape is now un-cornered?
@LUIGITORNADO i saw your message and immidiatly thought of this game, i havent played it myself, but read a lot of reviews, i don't think it is on nintendo "yet" though, it's called one hour one life: https://store.steampowered.com/app/595690/One_Hour_One_Life/
Awesome
I can't believe it's been like 3 years and I'm still hooked with this game!
