I had a Big Mac recently for the first time in forever. Was nowhere near as good as I remembered it. I don't know if it is bad memory on my part, or if they went downhill.

Not gonna lie. That red t-shirt looks great! I want it in real life as well.

Finally mcdonald’s has scored some product placement in popular media. Good on them. Big company like Nintendo long last looking after the tiny guys.

They brainwashed me so much as a kid that I actually start to crave Mc just by seeing that logo. Kill me.

@aznable There was a game about 20 years ago called The Sims Online which had heavy McDonalds product placement. I remember the community was very excited for the update that brought the McDonalds stuff.

@Crono1973 : The original The Sims also had free McDonald's DLC which added a kiosk to the game. I recall making my own McDonald's diners back in the day.

The kiosks were absolutely bloody awful though. The food was overpriced and it would barely make a dent in one's hunger meter.

There was Pepsi machine DLC as well.

Like many others, I was brainwashed by the cult of Mac back in the day, and while I might have the misfortune of going there if in the company of others in more recent years, I no longer go there, and I ALWAYS feel rotten for giving them my business.

In the early 2000s, in Australia, they had what was called a Lean Beef Burger, and it was the ONLY burger on their menu that seemed even remotely real/fresh, and I do miss it sometimes when I think about it, but it was phased out pretty quickly. That might have been available during the phase when McDonald's had a bunch of items that were tick-approved by the National Heart Foundation, but it obviously didn't stick.

All of these look good, but I think the vanilla ice cream won't work for me.

Quickly went through both articles' comment sections, and it seems odd how much more hate McDonald's is getting for this than KFC did (there were some naysayers, but the reactions in that article tended to err on the neutral or positive side, in comparison).
