Today, Modus Games has shared a brand new video for its upcoming game, Ary and the Secret of Seasons. It gives us a look at some new gameplay footage, along with developer commentary.
You can check it out for yourself above - hosted by Ary and the Secret of Seasons lead writer, Genese Davis, it shows the titular character altering the seasons around her, conjuring clusters of icicles and pools of water to help reach new areas and clear tricky puzzles.
It was announced earlier this month that the game had been pushed back from its original July release date, and is now aiming to launch across all platforms in September.
If you hadn't heard about this one before, the game follows Ary's journey across the magnificent world of Valdi. In a move that surprises everyone, Ary joins the Guardians of Seasons, an old organisation traditionally ruled by men, to successfully restore Valdi's seasons.
Are you excited to check this one out when it arrives later this year? Feel free to share your thoughts with us in the comments below.

This video feels made for the Direct. Looks interesting, I might go for it if I don't have to pay AAA-price
Getting heavy BotW vibes, but the four seasons theming could help make it stand on its own and could still be fun. I have a feeling people will be comparing both games alot though.
While I admire the game's ambition, I have to admit it looks pretty unpolished in some aspects, especially the graphics and the jumping. Maybe it plays better than it looks but I guess I'll wait to see how it's received.
A gameplay trailer with a water temple?
Ow, that's bold!
This looks good, I might pick it up if the new Paper Mario turns out to be trash.
Would anyone happen to know if the puzzles in this game are similar to puzzles that you may get in Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons?
@Balladeer
lol at invasive hud. We say what a health bar and some text letting us know what the current objectives are. I've seen much worse in more mainstream games.
This looks amazing!! Maybe the controls look a little stiff, but I can look past its potential faults and I see a lot of love put into it!
I alredy know this is an unpopular opinion,but i think indies are making better Zelda games than the actual ones in the latest years.Just look at this,"The girl and the robot" ans "Incredible Mandy".The last good one was Skyward Sword.
I think it looks pretty good. I will have to see a review before I can make a true decision on this one though. I really like the mechanics of her seasons powers too. Very cool.
Looks good so far , reminds me of Rime
Looks interesting to me. I'm curious to see how it turns out, what kind of reviews it gets.
