Up to 75% off? No way!
looks at list, sees it's only for Unravel Two
@Panopticon was about to post the same thing
So not Dragon Quest ha?Okay.
May nab a couple of these on payday if I can get in before they drop off
Unravel 2 was a blockbuster?
@JokerCK
It was discounted already in sale exclusive to Europe in January
Finally gonna get Tales of Vesperia, no idea if I'll like it
Unravel 2 is a great game and a bargain at that price, played it all the way through with my wife.
That "up to 75% off" seems a bit misleading but its technically true. Still wish that Fire Emblem DLC was discounted...
@nmanifold
Agree
It’s always the smaller, cheaper games that get the big discounts. It’s almost as if they had to choose one game to ensure that “75% off tag line”.
I got myself hyped up. Rookie mistake.
Id pick xeno2 if it was at least 50% off...
Full bucks reserved for Xeno1HD tho
Pity Civ IV expansions didn't get discounted alongside the game, but Xenoblade 2 one did, so I might consider getting it in advance (like I said before, I'm courting the idea of eventually vouchering the base game with XCDE). Unravel 2 discount looks tasty, but I have yet to buy and play the first one, so the recently acquired Fe will probably remain my only EA entry on board for a while.
Why is Diablo and Skyrim still $60 before the sales? These are not first party games and have been on a Switch for over a year. Should be $30 or $20 regular price at this point before the sale.
Runbow, Ginger and the Crystal Shards so far. May also finally pick up moonlighter
Anyone played saints row recently and know if the game runs ok in handheld? In the mood for mindless open world mayhem
Nothing of interest for me. Pass!
@R1spam I've been playing it and enjoying it. Haven't really hit any major issues. You can turn dynamic resolution on or off. I did have one issue where my character kept aiming down the sites. A quick restart corrected it but that has been the only issue I have had so far.
@Jbuggydroid thanks for that!! Next purchase sorted
Definitely picking up the MK11 dlc, might get Skyrim too
@R1spam Saints Row doesn't run well in docked, I haven't tried handheld. It's been patched a couple of times and is definitely better than before but I started it up the other day and turned it off within 10 minutes our of frustration.I find the aiming to be so stiff, to the point it's unplayable for me. I've altered the sensitivity but it just doesn't feel right at all. I'm using a Pro controller, so I imagine it will be even worse with the Joy-con in handheld. Gyro aiming is supposed to be getting patched in but I've little faith they'll get it right. It's a shame as the game itself can be fun.
Along with Gone Home, Saints Row is my most regrettable purchase. I paid full price for it too.
my time at Portia is discounted as 50%, how is this game now, as the various patch resolve the bug/loading time and make it playable ?
A few are tempting me, Snooker 19 for £17.99, Trials Rising for £7.99 and Wolfenstein 2 for £24.99. I think I'll go for Snooker 19 for something a bit different. A few frames in between long sessions of The Witcher 3 sounds great.
I really wish they'd state the prices instead of % reduction as Nintendo "sales" are so often barely reduced versus the RRP.
Forgotten anne on sale for £6.39. Not shown on sale list.
could you please include the new price in these tables?
@Dman10 You're better off asking Bethesda and Blizzard about that.
Can't resist Civ VI for any longer, finally going to cave in. Last Civ experience was II back in the 90s...
@xpownz Probably the cheapest its going to be for a good while unless Nintendo does a Nintendo Selects budget range like they did on other consoles. Still a good price and its DLC which is half a full game is on offer as well. For about £50-ish for both, thats hundreds of hours of playtime if you're going for completition.
Of course I waited until... last weekend to buy Civ 6.
Might consider MK11 though.
wish this was in NA............
@nhSnork
If you have a significant other or siblings, I greatly recommend Unravel Two
I never played the first one and had tons of fun with it
For that price, is a steal anyway
@Dman10
If is still selling they won't lower the price
People pay full price for these experiences handheld
Technically 90% is the biggest discount, Troll and I. Sports Party and Gear Club Unlimited are 80% off.
@echoplex
It's been as low as $20 physical in US
@ShadowSmile you won't regret it!
@Skunkfish you have to learn a lot for this one. I played every part and still had to learn much, but you won't regret it. Still the best 4X series out there
Hmm Mario maker 2
@OorWullie you should try snap aiming for headshots. I got those all the time. Also the aiming as always been kind of stuff in 3.
Snap aiming is quickly hitting the ZL and letting the aim assist snap the reticle to the head. Makes head shots easier.
I haven't had much issues in dock mode. Make sure dynamic resolution is turned on I guess.
@OorWullie cheers for the heads up but I thin I'm going to give it a bash anyway, got some eshop points and some low expectations but just in the mood of that mayhem!
@Kurt101 Thanks for telling! I nearly forgot (hoho) this game, but the demo was so great I think I'll get it now
Lol and i thought Fire emblem would be 75% stupid me haha.
Im thinking about getting Sid meiyers Civilization game
How is Overwatch on Switch? I read that it has several performance issues. And how many people can be found online? I don't like this kind of games, but I know it's pretty addicting and maybe I could think about it now that it's on sale...
Mortal Kombat 11 at -60% IS pretty tempting. But I'm guessing it is also one of those games that would devour my 128G SD card.
@Entwickler you're welcome. Been holding out for a sale since I played the demo and was at the point I couldn't wait any longer. Enjoy.
For all looking at discounts on the 3rd party game’s look elsewhere as they are cheaper on steam when there is a sale and probably run better too
@Joriss
Tell me is this game Good
@BispoSnake @Panopticon all of the companies use this ploy. It is very annoying.
There's a lot there that I'd love to play, but equally I have so many games that I already own and haven't had the time to invest. FFF:TH looks fantastic, but I got Witcher 3 for Christmas, that along with Pokémon (competitive scene just eats free time) and the half a dozen games I'm yet to finish (Cap Toad, Batman TEW, Okami, Yooka Laylee, SouthPark TFBW, etc) and I'm really struggling to justify anything here.
I managed to hold of on getting any other big RPG until after I finished Octopath, so I'll do the same here with the Witcher and hopefully these will either be on sale again or have reduced properly elsewhere by then.
Maybe finally my time to play Three Houses and Maker 2, been waiting for a sale.
That solves my dilemma: Witcher vs Luigi mansion vs Links awakening
Although I doubt they will add it now, I really wish Nintendo would ad. A shopping cart so i could bulk buy. I like to bundle all the titles I’m interested in and then trim them down until I have a total that’s I am comfortable paying.
Witcher III or Mario Maker 2? I cannot make a choice... help!
Europe has much better discounts than NA.
I’m disappointed Yoshi isn’t on sale 😫
Diablo III 30%? LUL!
@Expa0
Even if you get it physical it would devour your card
@jamesthemagi thanks, but I’m in France and having it shipped over via the usps would have amounted to the full retail price anyway. However MK11 is the kind of game that I love to play on and off for short sessions so digital is more appealing (to me)
@Yakuboto Downloaded it but first need to finish three houses before I put my teeth into this I might be able to send you a review somewhere in late fall?
@koekiemonster Mario Maker
@jamesthemagi I have neither, although I tend to play co-op when hanging out with my friend (although our current Switch pastime is mostly Overcooked). But both titles are on my wishlist regardless.
Resident Evil 4,5,6 all 19.99 on PS4. On Switch they are 29.99. But now they 33% off at 19.99. Wow, so generous. At the same time they are 60% off on PS4 at 7.99. These 'deals' from Capcom are a great advertisement for PlayStation.
@Moistnado They've been out on Playstation far longer than on Switch. As far as Switch is concerned, they're still pretty new games, hence the price difference.
@pblive I agree that they have been out for longer on PS4. It places the multi-platform consumer with a dilemma- pay significantly more for the same product and get it portable, even though the person you are paying didn't make it portable... or wait for reasonable parity. By this model, next year I am going to be playing more games.
