@Wavey84 A essay on why Luigi's Mansion 3 looks disappointing.....Are you kidding!? The game isn't even out yet! You describe it as if it should be a horror game but if you're a fan of the series you should know that the series isn't meant to be horror themed but rather lighthearted and goofy with a spooky theme. Also why exactly is the slam mechanic dumb? I can't agree with this opinion and will gladly drink the nintenkoolaid.

You care enough about the game to go on a lengthy rant about it (even though you haven’t played it yet) but then simultaneously accuse people who are looking forward to the game of being ‘fanboys’.

I’m also not sure if you know what Luigi’s Mansion actually is— it’s always been aimed at a universal audience. Luigi is the lead, for crying out loud. How frightening did you expect it to be? From what I’ve seen, the game harks more back to the classic Monster movie days in a cartoony, colourful, imaginative way. It’s not going to be Blair Witch with boos.

I think you need to stop drinking your own Kool-Aid buddy.

I guess it might be following the cartoon look and style of the movie Hotel Transylvania or the new Addams Family movie, with a spooky look rather than a spooky feel.

Im not expecting a Resident Evil type game. But hopefully we had a few new spookies and not just Nintendo bats and boo's.

Luigi's Mansion 3 looks like Luigi's Mansion... if you don't like the look of Luigi's Mansion, well, a bit contrary, but nobody is forcing you.

The first Luigi's Mansion wasn't darkly lit. I mean, the first bit was, for like 20 minutes.

SERIOUS QUESTION - what retailers will carry this statue/figure? I have never bought a First4Figures item before but that collector's edition is calling my name. I love this franchise and that polterpup looks great. Where can I order this?

In your first post you blabber a lot of negativity, not even expressing that’s ‘your opinion’, but stating that it IS not dark enough, the slam ability IS dumb, etc. Not leaving room for discussion. And you start the post with ‘not drinking the Nintenkoolaid’, giving yourself immediately ammo to repel any critisism anyone might have on your post, since they ‘must be fanboys’.

So, something happened in your life which caused all your negativity, and you need a place to let yourself get rid of the negativity. Your first post screams ‘stop being happy’ to everybody. Seems like you wrote it beforehand and immediately posted it when there was news Luigi’s Mansion related. You know this post is about the figurine, right? Not the game, but the figurine which might as well be Luigi’s Mansion 1 related, apart from the logo? And if you buy the figurine, you can put it in a place dark enough for you.

I don't think analyzing trailers is enough to judge a unreleased game on alone but If you phrased your opinion in a less whiny and combative way you probably wouldn't have to deal with "Triggered fanboys". My advice would be to not start with "I'm not drinking the Nintenkoolaid" next time cause it just makes you sound like a troll.
