Limited Run Games is opening pre-orders for a collector's edition and the standard edition of Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX tomorrow, on 27th August. Pre-orders will be available directly from its website up until 27th September.
The standard edition will set you back $34.99 USD and the Collector's Edition costs $54.99 USD. If you opt with the more expensive one, you will receive a physical copy of the game, a reversible poster, Lola's Vocals soundtrack CD and a Lola Pod enamel pin. Both versions of the game will include all of the DLC.
It's also mentioned how this game is not a numbered release or part of the LRG collection:
We are distributing this title on behalf of Inti Creates for the Western market. Missing out on this release will not compromise a complete Limited Run set.
Best Buy might be receiving "a small number of copies" with alternate cover art as well. Here's what Limited Run website has to say about this:
Best Buy has the ability to not move forward with their order, as it has not been finalized yet. Wait at your own risk.
Will you be adding this one to your physical Switch collection? Leave a comment below.

What's interesting is that the collector's edition for this is also an open pre-order.
I was already looking into importing the Asia multi-language release, but this is better since the DLC is on the cart, instead of requiring a download code.
Is this game already available on the eShop? Looks really nice.
@DockEllisD Does the Japanese physical release have the DLC like this one will?
This looks great, cannot wait.
@BlueMage
Play-asia is selling two versions of the PS4/Switch release, a Japanese release, and an Asia region release.
Asia region releases are multi-language and are intended for places like Singapore. They may feature English or Japanese box art, and titles such as Katamari Damacy Reroll (or ENCORE) and Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy have had Asia region releases.
This Asia region release includes a download code for the DLC, whereas Limited Run Game's distributed US release will have the DLC on the game card/disc.
It's worth pointing out that there's no limit on the pre-orders for this game (including the collector's edition) through Limited Run Games. Though it will likely be a one-time print, but you have a whole month to place your order which is expected to be fulfilled in October.
Also worth pointing out that Limited Run Games are only acting as the distributor for this release. You'd probably have a harder time getting the US release in Best Buy.

Was curious so I went looking into the DLC situation.
Seems the JP version has four costume DLCs announced:
'Sailor Outfit' for buying at Amazon.co.jp
'Shredded Clothes' for buying at Geo
'Animal Outfit' for buying at Joshin
'Lola Outfit' for buying a first-print copy
Play-Asia's pages say the Asian ver includes a day-1 bonus
'Lolawear' outfit DLC for pre-ordering,
Couldn't seem to find details on any of the others though.
So, Japan has 4 and Asia has 1?
This article says the LRG version includes "all of the DLC" —
I couldn't find the source of that, but hopefully it's correct.Edit: For LRG, Inti Creates says the LRG version doesn't have the JP retailer-exclusive costumes. (Source)
So I guess it's not all of the DLC on the LRG copy (Might just be the Lolawear?)
Also, pictures of each costume, if it helps:
Lolawear, Sailor, Shredded, Animal
It seems the Japanese and Asian releases both have the same serial code, AUKJA, so should both have the same features/languages.
Love the Azure Striker Gunvolt franchise, double dipped on switch (got both in 3ds already).
Definitely getting this one day one.
Even though Limited Run Games is doing this on behalf of Inti Creates, I'm happy to say that I'm looking forward to getting a physical copy of this game. The fact that this isn't a limited physical release is awesome. Limited Run should do things like this more, helping dev gets physical game out there is a win-win in my book. Please find a way to get Grandia HD Collection, Bayonetta 1, Devil May Cry 1, Resident Evil 1 remake, FF7-FF9, Fast RMX, and Doom 3 in physical form and I will love you forever Limited Run Games.
@Scollurio No.
Pre order is live - just ordered it (regular version) - don't wanna pay 20 $ more for the soundtrack, even though it will be great but I am not much of a soundtrack listener
