Whether you're a legendary game developer, a world famous series producer, or even the president, working at Nintendo involves a healthy dollop of fun. As such, some of the company's most well-known faces have been getting involved with fun activities throughout the course of E3.
Recently, we shared a video of the real Mario Makers - Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka - playing a game of spin the wheel, revealing their own personal thoughts on elements of Super Mario Maker 2. Now, even more staff are getting in on the act, this time enjoying a multiplayer level from the game itself.
Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser hosts the video, with Shinya Takahashi, Takashi Tezuka, and Bill Trinen beside him. The foursome jump into a level designed especially for them, aiming to collect all 100 coins between them and having a jolly old time while doing so. We have to say, we're already warming up to Mr. Bowser at an alarming rate; he just seems so friendly.
Are you still looking forward to playing Super Mario Maker 2? Will you be inviting famous Nintendo staff members round to your house for a game or two? If only...

Uuuuugggghhhh, I'm so HYPED for this game. Wish I had some people to play locally with though. Cool to see these big wigs playing together!
I love that you can now switch characters in Maker mode. I'm probably gonna play Luigi almost exclusively. I hope they add more characters through updates too...Peach, Wario, Daisy, Rosalina, etc. It'd be even cooler if they gave the characters unique attributes, but that would make it harder to design levels with a specific move set in mind. They could add a feature that allows you to specify that a level can only be played with the character of your choice or just any character.
They are definitely no let's players
This video shows why I love Nintendo so much...
warms the heart watching this
A little less time spent on nonsense and AC might not have been delayed.
@JHDK
Consider yourself lucky for even getting a new Animal Crossing, you spoiled, little brat!🙄
(I'm joking of course.... maybe)
@JHDK
It's "nonsense" like this that helps to make Nintendo the quirky company that they are... you know... the quirky company that came up with that Animal Crossing thing that you're looking forward to.
The Comment Section: Moaning since it was invented
Just goes to show - That if a fun game (on any console) people will make time to play on the couch, at home in front of a nice big TV 😉
I do wish we hadn't had to fight for online multiplayer to begin with, killed hype is hard to get over even if issue is addressed
You know, if you are making a product you yourself can't enjoy, I pity you. I would be worried if Nintendo's people didn't have fun playing a major title their own company is releasing.
Bowser actually plays really well! What a cool bunch!
@JHDK you’re cold as ice man
Damn, the game looks like fun...and I still have to wait
