If you loved Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle just as much as we did, this new community competition from Ubisoft may well be of great interest to you.
From December 2018 and throughout 2019, Ubisoft is hosting Winter Games, Spring Games, and Summer Games competitions for fans of the game. Players from all around the world can join in the fun, with each season challenging you to "dive one more time into some of the game’s battles and beat them under specific conditions". You only need to own the main game - no DLC or additional content is required.
Things won't be a walk in the park - Ubisoft has hinted that challenges might include requirements such as facing a boss without firing any shots - but the rewards will certainly be worth the effort. Clear the challenges, and you'll get a chance to compete against the game's best players in a versus tournament at the development studio in Paris, with other potential prizes including Gamescom tickets and a "pack of goodies".
Registration opens on 13th December (that's this Thursday) and things kick off the following day. A link for tournament registration hasn't appeared just yet, but it'll probably be worth keeping an eye on (and refreshing) the announcement post here and Ubisoft's social media channels on the day.
Are you up for the challenge? Would you like to win a trip to Ubisoft Paris? Let us know if you'll be signing up with a comment below.

Bon jour, Ubisoft.
But i cannot speak French over there. 😅
Great idea. Time to dive back in.
I haven't even beaten the main game yet! Well, I can at least try! Good luck to anybody involved!
Sounds nice. Maybe they'll announce the Mario & Rayman crossover title that people been rumoring about at these events.
Too bad I’m really bad at this game, haha. It was a ton of fun though.
This is a cool competition!
just hope the riots have settled by the time this comes around
New free content, sign me up
Haven't even got this Ah maybe after Smash... and Celeste... and Hollow Knight... and Everything else
Sounds like fun, I'll give it a shot. This is some nice support for the game. I wonder if they plan on making a sequel.
I read the rules, and there's no collusion allowed, lol.
@Anti-Matter Bonjour not Bon jour.
Tempted to enter this, after all everyone says Paris is known as the "City of Love". There will certainly be loads of happy screams in my hotel room everynight if I win. No woman would want to leave the hotel room.
hmmm, play a game i sold off to go to a city in the midst of violent political unrest? sounds like a great plan.
awaits the inevitable sequel announcement in March
