"Watch All Of The Nintendo Treehouse Footage Right Here"
To quote Bartleby the Scrivener, "I'd prefer not to."
Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty hyped for every game shown here, but I'm not going to waste hours of my day watching people play good games badly while offering insipid and largely pointless commentary.
Watched the smash ones cause I saw them playing Daisy.... And Peach is my main. And the Yoshis are so cute! Both in smash and Crafted World
I heard Diablo 3 was compatible with the voice chat app. I looked at my app and don’t see it in the list of supported games though.
Treehouse is literally the worst part of Nintendo.
No. You cant make me.
Yoshi looks very nice. Let’s hope they remember to make it a good single player game while emphasising co-op, unlike some others (cough Kirby cough)
@electrolite77
You know what ? The Treehouse destroyed my hype for Yoshi Crafted World...
They skined Yoshi's Woolly World... I launched again WW just to compare and it's insane how Crafted World is based on Wooly world in terms of engine, menus and physics...
It's almost like a "transformed port", a port that keeps a skeleton and replaces the skin...
And the worst thing I saw during the video : the difficulty level is around 0 on a scale of 10...
Woolly World was already easier than Yoshi's Island but kept a kind a difficulty level but Crafted World is a pure "game for casuals/non players".
And the last part, the global design is lower in quality than Woolly World and I don't get that... I was blown away when I relaunched WW to compare with CW... o_O

Something about Crafted World just doesn't grab me.
Maybe it's the way they were playing, but it just seemed lifeless and lacking any kind of urgency.
Something felt off about the overall design as well, like they settled for a first draft.
@Cobalt Yeah Crafted World looks like a major fecesstorm on its way. It's terribly easy, even going so far as awarding costumes with extra defense and so on, and it's pretty much been skinned to a collect-a-thon with nothing reminiscent of danger.
@Cobalt well now you’ve got the perfect excuse to sell your Switch and move on.
@Blizzia
I'm not agree when you talk about "a major fecesstorm", this is too violent... but it's not that great compare to Woolly World.
The atmosphere and the textures quality are better on the Wii U's Yoshi.
Still think it should be Yoshi's Crafted Country.
@Bunkerneath Yoshi's Crafted Kingdom, maybe? haha.
@Blizzia Yeah something like that, Crafted World is just poor wording
@Bunkerneath Yup.
This looks great. Loved wooly world with my son so we both can’t wait to try this
Don't know what people are complaining about, Crafted World looks like it has looked since its initial reveal. Looks fine, personally not to keen on the papercraft art direction, but the gameplay looks more or less identical to Wooly World. Expecting some great co-op with the wife on this one.
Ok, ive never really played Pokémon.... but looking at the video at 6:27, what’s up with that double kick animation? Pikachu just look like a rigid rock being drop from an inch off the ground... some other attack look like more care have been put in the animation but still less than what could be expected nowadays... is this like a untouchables classic animation for double kick ? I could swear attack animation in Pokémon go already look better even if it’s a light mobile game...
Thanks NL for breaking the Treehouse up into segments, or yahoo know maybe just linking to vids on Youtube, but when I first read the title I assumed 1 hours long video and I wouldn't be watching that. Planning on watching these with my kids later over the weekend.
Thanks for posting the summaries so I know I don't have to watch.
So, it has new graphics, some new mechanics, is somewhat easier, has a new map system, but still feels the same underneath. Are we comparing Yoshi’s Crafted World to Wooly World or SM3DW to SM3DL?
@ilikeike So why are you here then?
@mikegamer Because I wanted to watch a little bit of each stream to get a feel for the games and to see the new Smash characters in action. I also wanted to watch some Crafted World gameplay, which does indeed look great. But I'm absolutely not watching any of these all the way through, as the headline recommends. I can never make it through these Treehouse streams in their entirety, I generally watch them in spite of the commentary rather than because of it.
@ilikeike Okay then
@Cobalt You just described a sequel. You literally just criticized the game fore being a sequel and for showing the easy early levels from the game, something every game does ever. What the hell is wrong with people this days?
Yoshi in it's current form reminds me of Yoshi's Story on N64. Which was ultimately lifeless and disappointingly short. I hope the final version is more in tune with Yoshi's Island and Wooly World.
I love the concept behind Yoshi. Good feel living up to their name again! I swear I want to work for Nintendo just for the swag.
@RevampedSpider Or you know, don't watch it. Now there's an idea.
@JRRR92 He’s just the biggest troll on this site. Don’t bother with him.
Great that the videos are divided! Yoshi looks charming!
@RevampedSpider
You don't like people telling you what to do, yet you tell Nintendo what to do. Hypocritical.
Nintendo should eliminate Nintendo Treehouse and fire all those people just because you don't like them. Logic.
@RevampedSpider
Me. They're annoying but give useful information about their games.
Not to mention exclusive footage of the games.
@RevampedSpider
That doesn't change the fact that you want Treehouse to disappear, just because it doesn't suit your tastes.
One thing is to criticize something you don't like, another is to think it shouldn't exist because it's not for you. That's pretty stupid and childish.
@RevampedSpider
Ok, child.
Sweet dreams.
