Amazingly, the holiday season is almost upon us once again, with time flying by at a pace that would beat Santa Claus himself in the world's strangest racing event yet. Luckily, though, for those wanting to get into the festive spirit, this Super Mario-themed wreath might just be the perfect thing.
Released exclusively through ThinkGeek and GameStop, the wreath has been crafted with durable EVA foam, with all those wonderfully familiar Super Mario coins, mushrooms, stars, and question blocks replacing your traditional - and much more boring - berries and pinecones. It also features blinking green LEDs, letting your door twinkle just as brightly as next door's ridiculously large reindeer display in the garden.
The images below show it off in a little more detail:
It has a keyhole slot on the back so that you can hang it up, requires two AA batteries (obviously not included), and has an on/off switch to preserve said batteries when not in use. If you're interested, you can pick one up now at ThinkGeek's website for $19.99.
Will you be treating yourself? Do you usually place any gaming-themed decorations around your home for the holidays? Let us know below.

Looks nice and it's not too expensive, but shipping to Europe isn't going to be cheap, so... pass.
Oh, Nice !
Christmas with Nintendo theme = Perfect Combination.
I'm getting one asap
That's tacky.
I want one!
I'm surprised that isn't an affiliate link.
Although looking through Thinkgeek isn't a bad idea for gift ideas, I didn't find anything that clicked.
I can imagine Game stores in the UK clearing shelves of 3DS games to make space for this. Put a bobble-head on it and they'd empty an entire aisle.
@Moroboshi876 shipping is about $17, so about £27 in total
@DrBaptiste Actually the item itself is 20, so total would be 37. But I haven't been able to find the shipping price to Europe.
That's pretty cool. The actual doughnut things they've used for the lights make no sense--I'm sure there were better things in the history of Mario's art that would fit with the idea of them being Christmas lights--but it still looks cool.
America so lucky to get so much great stuff. I SO wish ThinkGeek shipped to UK
Begging my wife for this as I type. Super cereal.
$8 ship to store or $9 ship to your home in the US. FYI.
SMB3 is one of my favorite game of all time, so I've gotta get this.
My wife ordered it!
That's cool! I would get it!
My wife bought this as soon as she saw it last week. I can confirm that it's the best thing ever.
Man is this tempting....My brother has been saying that I need some outdoor Christmas bling....
@impurekind the donut things are also from SMB 3. They're in several levels and when you stand too long they drop. It fits with the rest of the wreathed being SMB 3 art.
I would love to get this, but it would most likely get stolen if I put it up on my door.
@bolt05 I know they're from the Mario games, but I don' think they make sense being used as lights here. I think there's probably some kind of actual lights in the Mario Universe, or something close to lights, that would have made more sense being used here.
How to make your parents worried 101
But where's the Mario themed capricornia?
Or the yoshi-turkey hybrid?
To each their own, but this is a bit too tacky for my liking...!
