According to the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, WorldNeverland: Elnea Kingdom will be released on Nintendo Switch in Spring 2018.
The game was originally released on iOS and Android stores in 2015 and aims to act as a simulation of a living society. With hints of RPG gameplay elements also involved, players can get married and start a family, build houses and farms, battle against monsters, cook ingredients, and are generally free to do as they please. You can see a trailer for the original release below.
There are no details on a western release as of yet but, considering the game was localised on mobile devices, we're feeling rather optimistic that a release will come our way. Do you think this looks like another welcome addition to the Switch's library? Let us know with a comment.

Interested I guess, need to know more.
Edit:
Actually, just read up more on the reviews for the Android version. The game has a lot of glowing reviews.
The game looks soooo.... cheap. Poor rendering.
But, somehow the whole concept are quite interesting.
To me, it looks like Decent version of Rune Factory.
Btw, i can "Woo Hoo" in public ?!
To me, this looks purely AWFUL, pass
Reminds me of Fantasy Life, but it doesn't really look good.
You can marry actual people in the game?
Meh, this looks like a lazy DS game tbh.
@Kalmaro The mobile audience will praise anything even shovelware.
Wow, that was...underwhelming. That can stay right on mobile phones, where it belongs.
@retro_player_22 Well hold on, let's wait until we get a 'proper' review before we go calling it shovelware. People on the Android market can be pretty rough too. No one likes microtransactions, for instance.
More mobile garbage for the Switch. All this nonsense should get their own tab on the eShop.
@Kalmaro @Yorumi I stand what I say, it's a very unappealing game to me. Now that doesn't mean the game will suck though, the game can look lazy and still be fun to some. I'm just not a fan of how this game look and runs.
I miss Rune Factory. T.T
Eeehhh.......
Yeeeesh. Please dear god no.
I want a real Rune Factory, not a cheap Android clone. Also the trailer don't tell me anything about the game, is it a online world?
Can we get a new Fantasy Life instead? Pleeeeaaaase?
Yeesh its gonna need a serious graphic update because 2005 called they want their DS game back.
@BlakeMorris Fantasy Life would be great! I maxed out a character in the old one and I still kept playing long after that.
I can imagine why this would get glowing reviews on mobile. It probably looks fantastic on a phone. On the Switch...maybe not so much.
But why are we knocking this game's "old" graphics when we praise 8-bit style? (Then again I'm pretty biased towards 16-bit style. Love me some Chronotrigger.)
Having said that, I'm more a local coop guy (Portal Knights) than an online player (this game), so this is a pass for me.
Looks interesting, in fact I might just check it out on my phone but I am getting pretty leery about all of these free phone games being ported for $20 on the Switch. Every console has shovelware, but in these cases most of these games are literally free already.
Yuck, YUCK!!
@SomeWriter13 I had 3 major problems with Fantasy Life, but other than that it is probably my favourite 3DS game.
1) The map is designed in a way that everything branches out from a central area. This means that when you go somewhere, instead of being able to continue through to another location, you have to backtrack. They could have put some loops in the map.
2) By having the same story no matter which life you chose, the story chapters where incredibly easy. You did some walking around, maybe picked up an item, and then did a really easy boss. If they changed the story quests slightly for each life, this would not be an issue. It would be even better if they had a unique storyline for each life.
3) All of the side quests where 'Go kill X enemies' or 'Bring me X of this'. There was not a single side quest that did not work like this.
@BlakeMorris I have the same gripes as you do! Particularly with your second point, as it would have been cool to "solve" the game purely as a Tailor. Alas, your "fantasy life" still entailed bearing arms. I was hoping for (ahem) tailored storylines for each job as well.
The radial map design makes sense from a castle standpoint, as I imagine it would really be the center of town. From a gaming standpoint, it did require a lot of backtracking. Fortunately I had my trusty Alpaca mount. The side quests being a bit vanilla was mostly bearable because I found the world so cute that anything I could get out of it was great.
I have very fond memories of that game. It was hilarious with fantastic witty dialogue. And shockingly, it was very emotionally moving, as well. I found myself nearly tearing up at some points. It's definitely in my top 3 favorite 3DS games.

'I was hoping for (ahem) tailored storylines for each job as well.'
Get out of here.
Also, the multiplayer was fun. I used to play tag in Castelle(?) with friends.
@BlakeMorris XD XD XD
Multiplayer was the best part of that game. It was so fun adventuring with my brother and friend. And the DLC island was really fun. We were trying to recapture that feeling with Portal Knights, but it's just not the same.
