For fans of Nindies and the Switch eShop it's been a bumper week, culminating in the Summer Nindies Showcase from Nintendo. We'll be doing our usual 'Big Summary' soon to help you catch up on the glut of news articles related to announcements, but until then we thought we'd bring together the videos and trailers around the event.
Most of these are from Nintendo's official channel, but we've also dropped in some other Indie announcements related to the Switch from the past 24 hours. Enjoy!

I'm an excited little 31 year old boy
No trailer of Portal Knights for Switch so far ?
I thought it will be introduced yesterday...
There's some really promising looking titles in there. I like the look of Away:Journey to the Unexpected. I never noticed anyone talking about that.
When you think of the Wii U indies,it felt like 90%+ of them were either ten-to-a-penny 'retro' puzzle platformers or junk from RCMADIAX and the likes.Several months could pass without a decent title releasing, with Switch barely a week goes by without a new one being released and many more announced.
I feel that only four titles from the showcase were actually worthwhile or something interesting for the Switch
Pikanuch
That's not how you spell it, but my pants have officially been charmed off
Not a bad showing. Most of the titles didn't interest me too much, personally. Standouts to me were Golf Story, Super Meat Boy Forever, Shovel Knight: King of Cards, and No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again. Yono and the Celestial Elephants looks interesting as it reminds me of the old GBA Spyro games, but I'm not sold on it.
I was pretty disappointed that we got no new information on Yooka-Laylee or Stardew Valley. I guess it's not a huge deal since the developers for those games have been keeping us updated. Fingers crossed they both release this year!
Some nice surprises I didn't expect. I'm already looking forward to Suda51's collaboration and the last Shovel Night DLC/side-story, but I didn't expect to find something Battle Chef or Golf Story interesting until I saw them. After The Legend of the River King and Weapons de Omasse, I think I'm up for more quirky twists on the RPG formula. I still like the classic formula, however, so Lost Sphear has my interest as well.
Gear.Club Unlimited also looks like it'll fill a much needed niche in the Switch's library. Definitely keeping my eye on that one.
Also, Dandara looks fresh as heck for what could've easily been yet another sprite-based platformer.
Not sure how I feel about Inti Create's new game, though. Normally Co-Op-focused RPGs bore the heck out of me. I'd need more info, I guess.
None caught my eye so far, maybe when i'm in need of more games to play, i'll check them out again. I felt burned by indies last gen, don't want to support them without a good reason.
Brain. Melt. And that's a good thing
Lots of things to watch, gotta save some time for that later.
@16bitdave Hello, fellow 31-year-old boy! I shared your enthusiasm!

More interesting things here than what the majority of major developers are bringing out.
Looking at all the games, there is a lot of games that's rather interesting. Listed below are the ones I am interested and will most likely get. (Over 10 games, I got a lot to play in the future.)
Lost Spear

Booyah 44 here, Beat that!!
@setezerocinco as a child I never would have thought I'd still be playing mario 20 years later. Nintendo rules!
@dew12333 @16bitdave @setezerocinco Hahaha. Oldness is in the mind only.
@16bitdave I never asked myself that question. Ever !

Dam, it also seem to affected my eyesight and hair too, but I'll live (for a few years at least).
