Slowly and surely the Switch eShop is getting more games that suit more cerebral, laid back players. Poly Bridge will certainly fit that role, arriving as a console exclusive on the Switch eShop this Holiday season.
This looks to be a game that'll keep engineers and logical gamers interested for a long time, promising a lengthy campaign and the freedom to create your own bridges. You build various constructions and then hope that they hold together when put to the test.
Flex your engineering muscles in this bridge-building simulator that proves it’s just as fun to fix things as it is to watch them fall to pieces. Hundreds of levels and hours of physics-based puzzles will gear players up to create their own incredible bridges and puzzle levels to show their friends. Poly Bridge launches as a console exclusive on Nintendo Switch this holiday season.
Will you be building bridges with this one on Switch?

Finally.
I always wanted this game, but I do not 'buy' games on Steam because of the DRM.
As soon as I heard 'bridge simulation' during video, I thought Nintendo had lost the plot.
But it actually looks... kinda cool. Seems like there's a lot of physics-based stuff in there to play around with, so sharing that could be fun.
I've thought about this one for a bit, but never got it on Steam. Maybe I'll pick it up for the switch, who knows.
@Emperor-Palpsy
Here you can see a lot of gifs. Some are really funny.

I've watched this game played on PC... it's hilarious... but I have to wonder how the controls will work out... I assume joy-con as a mouse-like cursor when docked...touchscreen undocked?
My son (8yr) is really excited for this. I hope it's both fun and somewhat educational because I know he will get a lot out of it.
It's not for me, but it's great to see Switch starting to pick up alot of these STEAM only releases.
Every bridge simulator that I have tried has left me frustrated, I doubt this one will change that, nor do I want to spend a single dime on such a game.
Not for me, a bridge too far
I really want this game
Another Steam game I'll be removing from my wishlist. I really hope even more indie devs jump in on the Switch
For anybody not opposed to purchasing on STEAM, it's a $12.99 game currently on sale for $6.99. Or maybe $11.99 and $5.99, my kid checked and mentioned to me that it's half price.
Looks pretty great!
I like bridge builders but I will probably buy it on PC. I need a mouse for these types of games.
@Lumine me too.
But Poly Bridge is Steam only in PC. :/
I see Nintendo watches Vinesauce
@Lina-MG Then why buy it on Switch? It's not as if Nintendo doesn't have a form of DRM too (or any of the other consoles for that matter).
I'll probably get the STeam version that's already out, but a very nice edition for Switch.
The game that every high school physics class didn't know it needed, until now.
Yuck 🤢 not my thing
Could be interesting. I tried a similar sounding thing on the iPad a couple of years ago (can't remember the name) and it looked relaxing but was actually quite frustrating. Another on the 'maybe, but I'll wait for reviews' list.
Looks interesting.
