If you’re a fan of frantic sci-fi bullet-blasters, the upcoming title Assault Android Cactus for Wii U eShop may be one game worth keeping an eye on. Featuring a vibrant art style, slick frame rate, funky tunes, 1-4 player co-op and fast & frenetic twin-stick shoot em’ up gameplay, the title looks to take the concept of fun to new heights.
To celebrate the launch of the game on PC yesterday, Witch Beam – the Australian indie studio behind Assault Android Cactus – has released an official launch trailer. Although the game is not scheduled to arrive on the Wii U eShop until Q1 2016, it’s still worth checking out the delightfully upbeat gameplay featured within this trailer, and what can be expected in the final Wii U iteration.
Take a look at the trailer below, and tell us in the comments if it's one you'll keep your sights on.

Looks like something I'd enjoy playing.
Cool
I definitely want this. Hope it doesn't get cancelled like a lot of games these days.
Compared to how long I've been waiting for this game Q1 isn't that far along..
(Funny, not many years ago I would have just got it on pc, now I make myself wait just to show devs that there's a market on Nintendo's platforms..)
Day one purchase for me..!
Very cool; makes up for lacking stuff you see on the PlayStation side of the fence.
I want this game. 1-4 coop is just icing on the cake.
This game is going on my hard drive day 1!
Oh go on then, add that to the list.
Ohhhyeaa... Sold.
this is for me
Looks like a current-gen update to Smash TV (which is a good thing). Just added it to my Want List.
Really want to buy this on PC now, but Q1 isn't that far off. Do we know if the Wii U version will have any exclusive features?
@Fake-E-Lee Thanks, I had already dropped the news in the secretive NL news channel tips, an article should follow ASAP.
@Fake-E-Lee Truly a case of 'better late than never'.
