Following the recent release of the free Shovel Knight expansion, Plague of Shadows, Yacht Club Games has issued a patch ironing out a few kinks, and further enhancing the overall experience.
While the update is currently only available for PC users, it will be rolled out across other platforms very soon.

Plague Knight Campaign
- Black Knight now always spawns. Even if another wandering encounter was previously occupying his map node.
- Old Shovel Knight profiles saved before clearing the Flying Machine are no longer stuck on that node.
- Fixed minor text errors in various languages.
- Treasure Knight’s anchor no longer travels through walls in certain edge cases.
- Treasure Knight’s chest can no longer be broken by certain special attacks.
- Clearing to the Explodatorium last (out of the 3 possible Tier 2 stages) no longer skips the Potionarium cutscene (and therefore it is no longer possible to miss the health upgrade).
- Item completion totals should now add up to 100%.
- Spending all Cipher Coins no longer removes Cipher Coin collection information from the Inventory’s Gear Tab.
- Cipher Coin count is now accurate when checking inventory in the Plains of Passage.
- Binding two separate attack buttons no longer allows Plague Knight to throw bombs while bomb charging.
- Equipping the Ward Robe and using Berserker’s Brew Arcana no longer cause unintended knockback.
- Using Vat Arcana on the same frame as falling through downward screen transition no longer causes Plague Knight to hang in place.
- Title screen codes can now be activated with the menu’s arrow keys in addition to the bound in-game directions.
- End credits characters all appear in front of the houses.
- Dying while also defeating The Enchantress no longer causes a non-progression.
- Fast cheat now doesn’t run you past Armory cutscene.
- Cheating your way to clear the second Black Knight still results in Percy showing up at the Potionarium..
- Always dancing cheat no longer breaks certain cutscenes.

not suprised theres bugs in this day in age, kudos for the swift fixes though!

That's pretty fast although it won't help me much since I never even experienced any of those bugs, if you don't count dancing and fooling around right after beating Mole Knight, leaving the game in a limbo as the last bug mentioned in the list.
I've already completed the game and collected all the cipher coins and music notes. I'm currently on my Game+ run (second to last stage) after which I will try to tackle the speedrun feat. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do that though considering I still haven't had the will to speedrun the game as Shovel Knight either.

Is kinda disappointing to see, this is the sort of trick that makes for exceptional speed runs.
Why would they remove the double bindings!? At this point it's become an integral part of speed runs. Removing it just doesn't make any sense.

I'm having a great time with this DLC. I am currently almost done with Plague Knight's campaign. I'm right at the boss rush part.
So no fix that allows the player to enter the Iron Man Challenge as Plague Knight?
I haven't even had a chance to play it yet, but wow that's a lot of corrections. Good to know Yacht Club is on top of it, so thanks guys. I guess patience pays off.
I'm glad the vat bug is being fixed, I encountered it when I was nearly done The Iron Whale and it was super frustrating.
Hm, nothing too schocking, but I guess speedrun categories for this game will be divided into pre-patch and post-patch, then.
I've beaten the regular campaigns for both Shovel Knight and Plague Knight. Still have a long way to go for 100%: achievements, new game+, challenge mode, etc. Great game!

I'm surprised they didn't fix that stupid hard jump in the first level of Plague Knight's campaign. Miiverse seemed to have much disdain for it also when I came across it as well.
Strange that this wasn't included in the Plague of shadows update. Anyway, its coming. So far I didn't encounter any problems with Shovel knight!
I've not encountered any of those problems, luckily. The only problems I've encountered so far have been thanks to my own ineptitude, by which I mean I'm not very good at the game.
No mention of a minor graphical bug after beating snow shovel knight at the last supper where the snow gets replaced by glitch colors.
Still waiting for the 3DS patch so I can get past the game breaking glitch after the undead boss.
