Man At Arms on YouTube have done a number of different weapons from Nintendo games in the past, but this may be their most impressive challenge yet: Link's Hylian Shield.
Traditional shields are naturally very difficult to make, and considering the Hylian Shield was likely designed with a healthy dose of artistic license, the team in the video below have done an amazing task at replicating the iconic item of Legend of Zelda fame.
It's probably best not to think about how many man-hours went into creating this item, so we'd recommend just watching the video and admiring the skills these talented people have at their command. How much would you be willing to part with to get your hands on this amazing creation? Let us know with a comment below.

Hasn't this been done like 100 times already?
Too cool.
do I have to search the woods for one or is there an internet site to order from?
There's some slight language in the video. Just thought I should point that out for anyone sensitive to vulgar language.
Nice one. The paint is always too much, IMO. I wish they'd just left it metal.
Cool seeing the retro MS design paintjob. This guy's got a golden arm, as they say.
@ikki5 Not to the level that Baltimore Knife & Sword does. Most prop houses create beautiful replicas that have no thickness or edge to them, but all of the items featured on "Man-At-Arms" are fully-functional and combat-ready: All of the swords they make are sharp-edged and the shields use the right kind of material & thickness to withstand blows.
I really like the sword variant they did. Since their main source for the shorter Master Sword was ALTTP, it makes some sense, considering the Link wielding it is usually still a preteen and the final tempered form of the sword in that game is a red/golden sword (which I haven't seen done before).
I'm not going to bother watching the video, I'll just assume that they took some sort of shortcut with the shield like they did with the blade of the sword (cutting it out of sheet metal rather than using the layering process)
Great video. I find black smithing fascinating anyway.
I will jump into my laptop and find that Master Sword and shield if I can't get it now...
I love watching them and always impressed with the end result. This Hylian Shield instantly become one of my favorite from their work so far, although my top favorite is still Ryuko Matoi scissor blade from Kill la Kill.
@Link-Hero I understand where you're coming from, they're not quite as intricate as the stuff found in films, but nine times out of ten they're making fictional weaponry, so if they made them ultra realistic it might detract from the result.
Plus given the fact that they're probably using the YT channel as glorified advertising means they're not going to be making too much money out of it, focusing more of their time on more important projects.
Hey, on the note about younger viewers, it says "Please NOT" instead of please note. Sorry about correcting, don't like doing that but I thought that you guys would care.
