Earlier this year we told you about The Zelda Adventure, a live stream where some charitable souls tackle challenges, get up to some silly shenanigans and marathon a lot of Zelda games. Its aim was to raise $75,000 for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, but ended up passing that goal and hitting $100,000.
The team is now gearing up for its next major event, Zeldathon Relief, which will raise money for Direct Relief, "a non-profit, non-partisan organization that provides medical assistance to people around the world who have been affected by poverty, natural disasters, and civil unrest". As the teaser below shows it'll have a lot more dancing, slaps and fun around playing a whole load of Zelda games, along with recent Wii U blockbusters that feature the franchises' characters.
It'll be streamed live online, with "The Adventure System" using funding targets and interaction with the audience to determine which games are played, and how.
It'll kick-off live on Twitch on 27th December at 4pm Eastern time / 9pm UK / 10pm CET, with the Zeldathon website sure to host and provide details nearer the time.
Will you be tuning in?

I donated last time and now I don't stop getting mail. So annoying. I feel like my money I donated went to paying postage for all the mail they send me.
@KodyDawg I watched last time, there seemed to be nothing wrong really... through they did weird tings at time... but not usually inappropriate or bad language.
@KodyDawg Hey there, I run the marathon! I do my best to ensure that we keep the stream family friendly. The worst you have is the occasional rare innuendo or small slip up in explicit language. But those are rare and frowned upon.
It should be fun for all to watch.
@ikki5 Hey ikki!
Ah, I'm sorry that St. Jude has been sending you so many letters and things. You should be able to ask them to send nothing more. I will speak to Direct Relief, our new charity, to ensure that they aren't planning on any mailing campaigns with Zeldathon donors.
That said, don't worry about postage, registered non-profits have very reduced rates for bulk mailers from my understanding.
BLESS!!!! #HypeTrain
I get that it's for good causes or whatever, but this looks so lame. I will never watch it.
I do think the Zelda sound mix tune that played over the video was awesome, however.
