The Nintendo costumes added to the Wii U edition of Bayonetta and its sequel are simply awesome. Each one changes the game in very clever and unique ways.
But this isn't all that these costumes do. If you can handle spoilers, then you can find out by watching the videos below — right now!

Not really an easter egg if it's a actual game mechanic but still cool
The Starfox costume is actually pretty ugly. But the changes it makes to the game are absolutely amazing.
I'm still working my way through Bayonetta 1 again before I start Bayonetta 2.
Usually playing in the Peach costume, or Bayonetta's original costume. Will have to play in the Starfox costume for that final level though.
Really want that chain chomp but i dont know if i can beat the game on hard
These are pretty tasteless...
@Cia In which way ? What about it is tasteless ?
@TheAceofMystery It's not that hard, just make sure to use the different lollipops when facing off against a hard boss!
I just finished the game myself today for the 2:nd time on 3:rd climax mode. You can do it!
That laser nipple!
Nintendo should buy Sega, Platinum Games, Capcom, and Namco. Then they would own Bayonetta, Sonic, Shinobi,Mega Man, Pacman, W101, Street Fighter, Tekken, Monster Hunter, and many more awesome franchises.I'm sure they have the money to do that.
Are those considered "Easter Eggs", though?
@DJSmith99 Don't forget Resident Evil. If anyone could take care of that franchise it's Nintendo. Just look at the "exclusive" installments they had; RE:make, RE:Zero, RE:4, RE:velations etc.
Nintendo clearly brings out the best there is from Resident Evil.
@DJSmith99 don't forget Okami.
Also... I'm pretty sure Nintendo already owns W101 as the IP belongs to them. Similar case with the Last Story. Nintendo has the final say on whether a sequel to either franchise happens or not.
Thanks for reminding me.
I'd say Nintendo is the key to saving lots of franchises. Think of how awesome Smash Bros. would be if Nintendo bought all these companies.
