Project CARS recently suffered a delay until March 2015 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, with the Wii U release simply given a '2015' window. When sending out a new Halloween-themed trailer publisher Bandai Namco has now stated that the Nintendo home console's version will land "later on in 2015" which, admittedly, doesn't clarify a huge amount, but is a change nevertheless.
The new trailer, in any case, is designed to show off night-time and weather effects in the upcoming racer, which do look rather good. As for the crowded races of expensive GT cars, we're not sure we'll be able to keep ours free of bumps — and damage — in the night.
Check out the flashy trailer below and let us know whether this is still on your wishlist for 2015.

Not a top pick for me but I'm definitely interested in giving this a go once they get around to the Wii U.
It looks great but again what is the point of showing us another video of a game that clearly isn't the wii u version?
Think I'll pick this up "later on".
Two questions:
1-Is that footage from the PC version or which version? I just know it is not the Wii U version.
2-They put Wii U and then March 20, which could lead people to believe it will release at the same time as the other versions. Whether it is wishful thinking or false advertising, it will be good to know.
If this gets delayed further, I'd rather get most wanted U on sale although I've never bought an EA game for years.
@Deanster101
I'll get this game for the ps4 if it is better than GT7 (which i highly doubt). If not I'll get it for the Wii U when it hits 5 bucks in the trash bin.
It looks great, but I'm worried: Where's actual gameplay footage? If the trailer is actually gameplay footage, I'll be darned...
My guess is the Wii U version will be ready about 6 months after the x86 versions.
I may still get this when it launches, but I'm disappointed in seeing that the Wii U version won't be out until later...
I want to know if this night time weather effects is actually going to be in the Wii U version, or will they come out with some excuse that the system isn't powerful enough to handle it?
The Wii U needs this asap !
@VolcanoFlamesNL If it really is, that's very impressive. But I don't think it will be tbh. Time will tell I guess. This game really looks like GT6 but better in everyway. Let's just hope it really is.
I'm still eagerly waiting for this one.
Lame. I want this game NOW! I've been waiting for a game like this. The end of the trailer there might be a little misleading if the Wii U version really will be the latest of all. I'm hoping for a simultaneous release (yeah, right).
@FritzFrapp Well when Nintendo showed us Mario Kart 8 we all knew it was gameplay even tho it rarely showed any actual "behind the wheel" type of gameplay. It was mostly all theater mode. So whats wrong with showing this game in the same way. They just wanted to remind us that this is the actual game engine running and not a pre-rendered video.
IT IS gameplay, obviously taken from different cameras during replay.
I just wish they'd show some WiiU footage, that's all. Love their trailers, though.
@FritzFrapp Yes it is gameplay, PC gameplay.
Yay weather changes that will never be on the Wiiu version! And thank's for the Wiiu trailer!Oh wait, i'll buy this later when they actually give a crap about the Wiiu version, after it's all said and done cancelled out of no where!!
People commenting that weather changes won't be in the Wii U version moght be calling wolf a little early.
Slightly Mad have said over and over that they're dedicated to having the Wii U version as close to the others as possible. And them putting the Wii U logo right alongside the others in his trailers should bode well.
Eh, Wii U version is almost guaranteed to be delayed to 2016.
Another game im just going to get on ps4 instead. Its ashame.
@Punished_Boss_84 legend!
Guys just get most wanted u it's pretty fun
@AVahne
Source? Proof? All this misleading comments. It's ok to tell us your opinion, but please stop talking about presumptions.
I , myself, assume that SSB U will sell 4 million copies, but I don't know it...
every time they keep saying something about the Wii U version being pushed back and showing lack of support for it i loose more and more interest in the game till it gets to the point where it gets realsed and no one buys it and they moan cause people on Nintendo systems dont buy third party games
@Mr_G Well they don't.
This advert lists wii unassuming March 20th? Would be amazing if they've pulled a reverse ubisoft and delayed all other versions just to coincide with the wii u launch. Which would have some logic as it could hurt it's sales if delayed again and and doing this would protect their investment on the wii u version
I never understand why Wii U games get released later. That's a horrible marketing idea. Is it really that hard to port it? Or are they taking "Special care" of it like Ubisoft is (not) doing?
Gonna pull a @rjejr and say this game has been cancelled for Wii U, like Watch_Dogs.
@Nictendo64
Ubisoft have openly stated regarding Watchdogs that they're sitting on the final game, but aren't releasing it until more systems are out.
