Nothing as always.
Edit: But that Bayonetta 2 demo tho..
2 GBA games in one day (16th October) is that a record so far for the PAL/NTSCU VC ?
God please bring Castlevania Rondo of Blood and these GBA Castlevanias to EU!
NOA PR didn't list it, but ZaciSa's Last Stand (Wii U) is also now on sale ($0.99) until end of October.
The Nintendo 3DS eShop music seems to have changed. I think this is new as of today as I visited once after the system update and it was the same.
This is the first time such a thing has happened.
Good thing Smash and HW both have me too distracted to care that there isn't any interesting VC games. One can only wonder why NoA has decided not to give us VC games that others have had for a while but whatever.
@unrandomsam - the first few weeks of GBA VC they were releasing 2 or 3 a week....but it's been a while
Not sure what I'm picking up, if anything this week. I may save my gaming dollars for November/December
The NA Wii U eShop has Zelda music playing. What a nice surprise.
Guacamelee here I come! Bayonetta 2 demo might determine if it's a Day 1 purchase or a wait till Christmas purchase for me.
Will wait every week for Game & Watch Gallery 3, it's still a good thing smash came out, most people shouldn't care what comes out this week.
Does anyone know anything about Ninja Battle Heroes? It looks interesting
I´ll buy Pac-Man 2 when it goes on sale.
I loved Castlevania Circle of the Moon. Definitely getting that game, and the Bayo 2 demo.
Picking up the Bayonetta 2 demo. I'm glad that they did that because I was on the fence on this one still.
BAYONETTA 2 DEMO!!!!!! LET'S GO!!!!!!
Bayonetta Demo and Guacamelee!
Still nothing for the 3DS VC? Oh boy. Big surprise.
@unrandomsam perhaps they made a mistake! 3 title for the VC on a single week is just too much to what we are used to by now... sighs, that only shows how low expectations I have now
@Captain_Gonru There is! Just entered Nintendo lotcheck, so won't know the status of it's possible release for another week or 2.
aaaand nothing for the 3ds as per usual. I'm never gonna get Battletoads am I?
I knew not buying guacamelee on the PSN sale would be rewarding
@legend_of_Shawn Nope! That's a Rare game. I'm pretty sure it'll never be released.
Downloading the Bayonetta 2 demo and that's it.
Tempted to buy Guacamelee when it's on sale, but already have so many unplayed games (including the Steam version of Guacamelee) that's it's hard to commit...
Wasn't there supposed to be a ZaciSa's Last Stand demo too?
Bayonetta 2 Demo? Sweet! Can't wait to give it a shot.
As for all the Petz games.... do those really still sell, Ubisoft?
Bayonetta 2 demo?....................runs to Wii U
Finally Guacamelee goes on sale. Buying after work.
nada for me but im busy with Smash anyway
@alex167 Ninja Battle Heroes is by the same guys who did Smash Cat Heroes and that's all I need to know to buy it as soon as I get home. SCH was awesome and I can only hope that this holds up it's legacy.
The Bayonetta demo should be a nice way for me to give the game a try. I'm not a massive fan of non-open world 3D action games, so we shall see how things go.
Demo time! Now to continue waiting for Wii U Smash.
@HeroOfCybertron The demo was only just submitted to Nintendo. Won't be out for a few weeks most likely.
Getting the demo and Guacamelee.
I guess it's time to give Guacamelee a try.
Well, anyone who knows me doesn't need to ask me what I will get today.
Regarding the other games, I got Pac 1 during the sale and it is not a bad game. I haven't seen the TV series, so I still find odd to hear Pacman sounding like Tails.
Turtle Tale for $3 might be worth it
Bayonetta 2 demo. Really excited to see what this game looks like.
Another Week without Metroid Zero mission...sigh
my wallet says "Thank You NOA" I can take a week off and relax....... tension lifts........
Who says Ubisoft has abandoned Nintendo? Three 3DS games in a week!
@Klimbatize
People are saying Ubisoft has abandoned Wii U, not Nintendo in general
So I never played Circle of Moon is it a classic style Castlevania or Metroidvania style?
I already own Circle of the Moon, but please bring the other GBA Castlevanias, PLEASE!!! You don't know how close I was to paying top dollar for the double pack of Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow.
This is just my opinion: Guacamelee was well worth my $15.
@Tasuki
Definitely Metroidvania style. Tons of backtracking and power-up collecting. There's even RPG elements with a leveling system, plus a brand new thing to the series in the form of the DSS card system that basically gives you new weapons, powers and summons.
Some intersting eShop things I noticed -
Bayonetts 2 is $49.99, B1 is $9.99 if you buy B2 first. So $59.98 for both. Avaible to DL at midnight
Pac man is $39.95 and a also midnight release. I think thats an ok price point and its good to see Day 1 DL for a multiplat on the eShop
And yes, another eShop Wii U demo, its on a roll.
@burninmylight: Ok cool will be picking it up then. Btw the other two GBA games will be coming out next week and the following week for the Wii U.
Looks like that bayonetta 2 demo is in Europe aswell folks =) mine is Loading now but I had a notification on my quick start page!!
Nothing for me, which is okay because I need to save money to purchase Disney Infinity 2.0 Download Edition and Super Smash Bros U, (and Capt. Toad if some extra spending money materializes).
@Tasuki
Thanks for the heads up! I went and checked, and found that the other games are indeed coming next week. I am so glad I didn't spend $70 on that double pack like I was close to doing. Reminds me of when I was a day away from spending a ton of money on the GameCube version of Pikmin 2 before the port got announced for Wii. ~_~
time to get guacamelee I guess
You can never rid the world of Dracula.
But the Drac came back the very next game.
Yes, the Drac came back. They thought he was goner
But the Drac came back. He just wouldn't stay away.
GBA games on the Wii U but not 3DS is just dumb. You aren't going to sell consoles with old handheld games but you'll probably sell a few 3DSs with some GBA games.
I'm downloading the Bayonetta 2 demo the second I get home. I never played the first but I've been liking what I've been hearing and now I'll get to see for myself if this is something I want or not.
Art of Balance for me. I refuse to play the Bayonetta demo. It'll spoil the Oct 24th surprise for me. Already paid in full.
Edit: very happy to see the high percentage go to Bayonetta. The 1st one was awesome and she deserves this sequel. Support it. You will NOT be disappointed.
Where is GBC Pokemon Trading Card Game for the 3DS VC?
I almost bought Guacamelee last week but I decided to wait for a sale... YES!
Demos on Wii U? that´s a big surprise.
@Sikboy1029 I agree, However the thing is there is something wrong with the gba virtual console on the handheld. I have the 10 games that where released after the price drop and sometimes when i'm playing it freezes and shuts down on some titles. I'm sure the new 3ds will be able to support the same VC's as the Wii U.
I picked up Ninja Battle Heroes in the Eshop today although so far the game has been easy the play controls, graphics and Music are all top notch. If you liked Ninja Gaiden you will love this game! It is a Gunman Clive type sleeper hit at a cheap price 2.99!
I'll finally grab Guacamelee!
If I didn't already have Castlevania Circles of the Moon CIB. It would be a very quick purchase for me. To all who buy it enjoy it. With that said Bayonetta 2 demo!!!
sigh, the single most annoying thing about the eshop for me is the fact that for some reason that i cannot fathom, theive decided to put GameBoy Advance Games on the WiiU when they should be on 3DS
Bayonetta 2 at 55%? The hype is more than just a reality... it's the truth.
Looks like you'll have to get a Wii U then, DASchenk... do you think Nintendo planned it that way?
I consider everything Platinum has done to be enough of a demo for me; I don't need another one to convince me Bayo2 is a day one purchase. (Although it may not be a day one play if I'm still completing Adventude More in Hyrule Warriors.)
@DefHalan
Yeah I'll be grabbing that one. I've heard it's a low-difficulty game (more an introductory game to the platform genre), but still decent fun. Especially for $3.
New batch of DLC for Theatrhythm as well!
I'll want to try the Bayonetta 2 demo, but since this is M-Rated, I believe the eshop is going to prevent me once again.
nothing for me...
NintendoLife developed Art of Balance???
Finally a decent Castlevania game. And I can actually see the screen in this version without using the bendy light adapter.
Bayonetta 2 Demo. If this gets a 90 or higher on metacritic I may have to get it. I'll get Art of Balance when it ever goes on a sale, and people, PICK UP GUACAMELEE! Great indie game.
@Whopper744 Yeah, I can't believe we still have no announcement for Super Mario Pinball (I can't remember actual name.)
@Iggly Ah man, I forgot about that. I swear they have the stupidest age restrictions.
@rdrunner1178
I just hope there is enough content. If it is low difficulty and simplistic gameplay, I hope there is plenty of content.
Did they patch the volume problem for Gravity Badgers
Those who haven't gotten Guacamelee yet: do it. I would be willing to pay retail price for a physical release of that game, had that option been available. It's that good.
i dont want the demo to spoil anything
ive got all three on cart (circle of the moon and the double pack with the manuals) but no need for those now since ill be getting all 3 on wii u vc...i told everyone we will be seeing the castlevania gba games this month.
thanks for the insider info ogo79!
Bayonetta 2!! It's the only game that's actually fighting with Super Smash Bros in what I should buy first!
Bayonetta 2 demo! That should serve as a fun break from Smash Bros... for a moment.
I'm downloading the Bayonetta 2 demo and probably the Art of Balance game.
If you own a WiiU get the best Castlevania games ever right now. All The GBA games in this series are worth it.
Bayonetta 2 demo for me!
Hi, I have a question! So, I've never once played a Castlevania game, but I beat Super Metroid for the first time recently (only the second Metroid game I've beaten after Prime) and I'm working my way through Metroid Fusion. I like them a lot and I'm wondering if I should start on Castlevania. I don't know where to begin with it though.
So any recommendations on what game I should start with? I guess I should mention I don't want anything quite as challenging as the original Metroid or Metroid 2. I'm sort of new to this whole "Metroidvania" genre.
Incredibly random Bayonetta 2 demo and Guacamelee sale? Hell yes!
Who are all these people not downloading the Bayonetta 2 demo?
@BaffleBlend
Like these great ideas for vc game in NA region
Pokemon trading card game gbc
Game and watch gallery 3
Super Mario bros. Deluxe
Fire emblem (nes)
The four turbo grafx 16 games that japan has
Outrun 3d classics version
after burner 2 3d classics version
More game boy color, and game boy, and game gear games
Master system games that the wii has
And gba and snes games on 3ds virtual console
Nothing this week. I'm one of the few older Wii U owners who doesn't care for Bayonetta, so I won't even get the demo. I hope we'll get demos for Captain Toad and Smash Wii U next month, though.
Well, dispensable income, looks like you're safe this week...
Need to go cuddle my 3ds xl...that baby needs some love since its not getting any from nintendo.
Garbage, all of it. But that's ok. I've got Smash.
You guys can thank me for Guacamelee being on sale. The heavens have decreed that every game I buy at full price goes on a steep sale one month afterwords.
Your welcome.
@TeeJay Guacamelee is garbage? You must be crazy or you never played it,i think that's it.
Totally checking out that Bayonetta 2 demo later tonight!!
Well let's see.
I just bought Castlevania Circle of the Moon, Art of Balance HD, Zelda 2 Link's Adventure and downloading Bayonetta 2 demo as I type this post.
Great week, just a fantastic Thursday download day
Wow, now I'm kinda glad I was holding off on Gucamelee(kept meaning to buy it but my backlog always held it back). But I'm definitely getting it now.
So Bayonetta 2 demo and Gucamelee for me.
@FlaygletheBagel start with the GBA games that are coming out this month. Circle of the moon Personifies metromania. It is why the word was invented. The classic NES Castlevania game is the first title it is a traditional action platform game. The second Castlevania game is called Simons Quest and it has more of a RPG kinda feel. (Some did not like this one but I did) The third Castlevania 3 went back to its roots but with different playable characters that you unlock after beating a level. Super Castlevania on SNES is like Castlevania Nes only more polished and cooler moves(action platform) ditto on Castlevania X (a really awesome action platform). There are others like Symphony of the Nights where I believe it got it Metriod roots. (Psp but originally on PS1) These games are totally challenging. If you want an easy one go with Utopia Nes.( not Castlevania but Metroivania before the name was invented) The GBA games I believe are the best of the best in the Castlevania series the DS games are very similar to the GBAs and are good as well.
its getting a tiny bit better NOA with wii u
Bayo 2 demo should be fun. Too bad Costume Quest isn't out on Wii U yet or I'd download the game, it's out for at least one other system.
No 3DS VC once again.
@Stu13
thanks, how many levels does the game have? and about Smash Cat Heroes, that is another game that looks interesting, is its gameplay like Witch&Hero or you can move on both screen and advance in every level?
Complaining about any of the GBA Castlevania trilogy is, in my mind, a clear cut sign the complainer hasn't played the GBA Castlevania trilogy.
Better than either SNES Castlevanias and better than the first two NES entries as well (3 is still the best in the series, as far as I'm concerned).
Great, a demo for Bayonetta 2! All of this time, I have been between buying it and not buying it. The demo should be the final verdict on whether I'm interested or not.
Just played the Bayo 2 demo. Absolutely amazing. I'm glad I reserved it!
I just finished the demo and all I can do is drop my jaw in amazement and now plan to get it next month when I have enoff for it.
circle of the moon is mine!!
I bought Ninja Battle Heroes and I'm loving it so far. I expect NL's review to give it 7/10 or 8/10.
I've been hopelessly addicted to the Love Live android app and still working through Triple Deluxe so I guess it's a good thing NOA apparently doesn't want me to spend money on the 3DS VC.
@midnafanboy I'm speaking as a 3DS owner. I don't have a Wii U so I wasn't watching whatever the Wii U's got going on.
Don't see myself wasting time with the demo; I know full well that I'm buying it Day One.
Bayonetta 2 demo all the way. On my way home to download now.
