Jonathan Bont, best known for his indie development efforts on the Ouya, has announced via his Twitter page that Trashmania Trilogy will be coming to the Wii U eShop early next year.
The Trashmania Trilogy will include Trashmania, Trashmania: Remix, and Trashmania: After Dark – with all games playable in an original and enhanced form. The Wii U versions of the games will feature updated graphics running in 1080p at 60fps, and added GamePad functionality – although Bont has noted it will probably only be the original games that support Off-TV play.
Bont hopes to release the trilogy on the Wii U in both the US and Europe around the same time, and in the near future may release videos detailing the enhanced versions of each game.
If you haven’t played one of Bont’s games before, take a look at the original Ouya Trashmania: After Dark trailer below, and let us know if you would be interested in experiencing this on your Wii U.

Had a look on Google Play to see if it was on there and there is a title called Trash Mania but it looks nothing like this. Its by company called Deedly Games. Is it the same guys?
Would love to see tasmania adventure game like in the past. But not flash 2d quality. But real pixels! nuff said
@OorWullie Jonathon here! No, this is unrelated to Deedly Games' "Trash Mania". I emailed them a few months ago pointing out that I had made a few Trashmania games before, with the first one dating back to 2009, but we agreed to keep the names for our respective games' since we didn't feel it would cause significant problems for either of us.
Okay, I think I'd need to see more. Is that an Atari 2600-style game in the first screenshot?
@Sean_Aaron Yup! The first two games (Trashmania and Trashmania: Remix) were Atari 2600 homebrew games. You can find the (legal) ROMs for both of them floating around on AtariAge... Just remember that I was young when I did those forum posts.

wow, weird looking games. I do like the Atari visuals, they remind me of VVVVVV.
Will check this out when it hits eShop.
So its basically a remix of Slenderman?
