Back in March this year, word got out that Grasshopper Manufacture was hard at work on a brand new game. Rumour spread across the internet that the studio was set to revisit the No More Heroes franchise after its CEO Goichi Suda - know to many by the name of Suda51 - teased the developer's new game.
Suda put a stop to the chinese whispers and announced that the new project isn't a third instalment to the popular series, but a brand new IP.
Speaking with Joystiq at this years E3, Suda did however expressed his interest in returning to the series at some point in the future.
Travis [Touchdown] is one of the characters I'm really fond of, that means a lot to me. So if there was the opportunity to create another sequel then yeah, I'm always up to the idea.
What are your thoughts on this? Are you eagerly awaiting a reunion with Travis Touchdown? Let us know in the comments section below.

I've never had an opportunity to try the first two, but perhaps if one was released on Wii U I'd give it a play.
He has said before now that Travis won't return as his story is finished now, and he'd use a new protagonist for NMH3.
Grasshopper Manufacture is my favourite developer outside of Nintendo by the way. Just thought I should mention that.
Played quite a bit of the first game, really enjoyed it...but I can't remember much from it.
Will play it again when I get the chance, besides Travis is a very cool guy and I for one would love to see him again!
I'd rather he revisit Killer 7, never really got in to No More Heros, even though I played both of them.
Doesn't matter. GungHo (Grasshopper's new parent company since NHM2) would never release it on the Wii U. They're mainly concerned with Xbox & Playstation.
It saddens me that Suda's last games - Lollipop Chainsaw and Killer is Dead skipped Nintendo consoles, but that's the precedent, and I hardly see it changing.
It's always good to hear that New IPs are coming
I just played the second one after I found it for 6$ on Gamestop. The game was good, but it could really use some refining on the sequel.
@MeddlingIdiot I was gonna say the same as you were (even had it typed out XD). Well his story is finished but I would like to see him as a Mentor for the new protagonist.
Bring your new IP AND another No More Heroes to the Wii U, those would be day one purchases for me
id love a NMH3(-DS mabe? lol) althow WiiU wuld be better tbh
well, a new nmh is MOST welcome, one of my favourite series. he could introduce a new one and let travis be the number one to kill. a revenge story of someone hurt by travis' killing frenzy. i'd love that.
For me nmh is the most creative and unique game I have played so far and I would love either a sequel or a prequel of the series.
Give me a Grasshopper game on Wii U! Love their games!
No more heroes was limited do to the wii's power. all though the first two were still incredibly creative and fun, I think a new No More Heroes 3 would definitely be the definitive Installment in the series, I love to see no more heroes 3 someday.
I could have sworn that NMH3 was already announced for WiiU sometime last year or early this year, and they said that it would have a new protagonist instead of Travis...I guess that article was a lie. Or maybe I just dreamed that I read it. Haha.
Yes please, I must admit I was hoping he was already working on it
Like Killer is Dead seems like a serious NMH with less creativity. He's always gravitating around it.
