Big John Games has lifted the lid on what will be its final DSiWare release. Working Dawgs: Rivet Retriever is an action platform title which will retail for the modest sum of 200 DSi Points (or $1.99 on the 3DS eShop).
The sequel to Working Dawgs: A-Maze-ing Pipes, Rivet Retriever is set across 20 different levels. Playing as Ace, you have to assist Mac with his rivet-based construction work by collecting as many rivets as possible while avoiding the various hazards which populate each stage.
Big John Games President Ken Patterson had this to say about the release:
As we move forward by developing games for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, we wanted our final DSiWare game to be a fun, affordable platforming experience that Nintendo fans would really enjoy. The exciting gameplay of Rivet Retriever is our way of saying ‘so long’ to the DSiWare platform.
Will you be giving this cheap title a spin when it's released? Post a comment to let us know.

Wow, this looks terrible. And not just in generic way, but in a terribly designed way. The camera appears way too far zoomed in, which means that enemies pop in too suddenly, and you can already see lots of leaps of faith in that trailer. It doesn't seem like there's any way to actually see what's beneath you, but yet you apparently have to drop or jump down often. That needs to be addressed, and it should be easy to improve, but I guess it won't happen...
I'll get this. It's only fitting that I support my fellow dawgs lol
@KeeperBvK
Indeed. Plus the physics and graphics look crappy and the stages look bland and unexciting.
I recently finished the pipe game. Fun albeit very easy puzzler. None of the 80 puzzles were complex. Fun though and worth the 2 dollars. I would have liked another pipe game though.
I love the word "Dawgs"
It looks pretty bad and based what it looks like, I would have to say somewhere around 3-5 stars. Im positive.
@Banker-Style "DAWGS" "DAWGS" Yeah, its pretty cool :3 "DAWGS"
@ngamer155 Don't say it too much, it'll stop sounding like a word!
