A new LEGO The Lord of the Rings trailer has arisen from the depths of Mordor — or Gamescom in Cologne, as it's formally known — to remind us once more that The Lord of the Rings is indeed getting a much needed LEGO makeover. Yet the question still remains: how on earth will TT Games fit all three films into one game? Only time will tell.
LEGO The Lord of the Rings is currently scheduled for an October 2012 release across all platforms, including DS, 3DS, Wii and Wii U.

hahaha awesome, I want this
Haha. Love it. Gollum and Gandalf look hilarious as LEGO characters. Insta-buy for Wii
I keep on laughing when I see this picture of Gollum it looks too funny in the LEGO version.
looks good however i dont have a wii yet
@SwiftHawk well, why not?
The end of the video doesn't have a WiiU logo. Has it actually been confirmed for WiiU or will I have to pop the Wii disc into the WiiU to make it for that console? I'm hoping for some innovative gamepad support and a decent polygon count here and not some cheap kick-in-the-nads version.
EXCELLENT TRAILER. See this is how LEGO is soooo amazing. The LEGO franchise has made really good games in the past and this just shows that they can even make medival times games. Ohhhh... I'm impressed. This also shows that they can pull off LEGO Zelda: Ocarina of Time... But this won't be LEGO's greatest game. LEGO's greatest game is that LEGO: Undercover Cop thing or Free City or whatever the heck its called. I forgot XD

I wouldn't worry about it too much. They could very easily just port it over from the 360 and PS3.
@Alienfish I don't believe the Wii U version has been officially announced yet, but there are strong rumours saying it will come once the console has launched.
I have never played a lego video game but this look really cool.
A 12+ for a Lego game WTF?
@A-Hungry-Banker 'Mild Threat' maybe?
I want to get it on Xbox, so I can get more Gamerscore.
