The Australian Classification board has turned up a rating for Harvest Moon 3D: The Tale of Two Towns.
The official rating calls the publisher "RISING STARS", though undoubtedly this refers to Rising Star Games, the publisher responsible for the Harvest Moon brand outside of America and Japan. As HM is Rising Star's biggest series it's highly likely it'll bring the farming franchise to Europe and Australia at some point.
When asked, a Rising Star Games representative gave us a "no comment". We'll keep you posted.

I wonder if this one will be plagued by the freezing and lag that hampers the U.S. version.

Probably not. If it's not released yet, they still have time to fix up the bugs in the U.S. version.
It's a farming and life-simulation game with RPG overtones. You'll either love it or hate it — you'll know in the first hour. It happens to be my favorite franchise, but I tried to teach it to Ms. Spear and she didn't last an hour.

Love it or hate it, huh? Is it difficult, or complex? If Ms. Spear couldn't last an hour in it, it must be a small amount of one of them.
It's not difficult at all. It's mostly time and resource management. ... finding enough time in each day to deal with your crops and animals, interact with the other people in the village, and perform ancillary-but-important activities such as fishing, mining and attending festivals. And if you achieve those things at the expense of a good night's sleep or proper nutrition, you'll pay for it by being half-asleep the next day
The first Harvest Moon was great in that time stopped at 6:00 p.m., and then you could do an infinite amount of work by going to the hot spring in the mountain to rejuvenate yourself. If only life was that easy
I will be picking this up....to the detriment of my studies....
Is this a good game because if it is i'm getting it when it comes to Australia
I love Rising Star for giving me reasons not to sell my 360 in the forms of Deadly Premonition and Dodonpachi.
@GrandChaseLover(4.): It kinda feels like Animal Crossing and to a lesser extent The Sims. Keep in mind that instead of total freedom you have to achieve farming objectives to be successful and have fun here.
