Update: Nintendo has now changed the release date to "To Be Confirmed". We'll have more news as it arrives.
It's been a long road to release for Aya and the Cubes of Light: originally set for distribution last year, developer Object Vision delayed the game to respond to feedback from its audience. Now the company is ready to let its game take off with a European release date set.
Out on 25th August, the cubic puzzler will land with a price tag of 1,000 Nintendo Points, with a North American release due to follow in later weeks.
We took the game for a spin not so long ago, so read through our Aya and the Cubes of Light preview for an idea of what awaits on 25th August.

did they make her moves faster? she was damm slow in the earlie build.
@NeoRausch Yep, the developer tells us she's much faster now. She seemed to move at a decent pace in the preview version I played, though she still won't be quick enough for some.
This game never interested me anyways .
Between my weird obsession with cube-shaped objects and one of my best friends being named Aya, I feel like I'm obligated to download this. It looks pretty interesting, though, so I'm looking forward to it.
It looks good but I need a demo or something to get a feel of the speed.
Looks cool. I'm interested. I hope it's not as disappointing as Ark of Sinners which also looked cool but unfortunately was not.
This game would look cool on the 3DS.
