Want more Sudoku? You got it. Telegraph Media Group is working together with Sanuk Games to bring DSi owners more puzzling fun as Telegraph Sudoku & Kakuro is nearing its American release on the handheld's download service. Get ready to kill more brain cells in the name of critical-thinking.

The game features over 500 Sudoku puzzles from the Telegraph and has a variety of difficulty levels that suit the skill-levels of players. As well as the classic way of playing on a 9x9 grid within four difficulty settings, the game will have:

  • Mini-Sudoku - easier 6x6 grids
  • Sudoku-X - 9x9 grids in which the diagonals must also be filled with all numbers from 1 to 9
  • Jigsaw Sudoku - 9x9 grids with uncommon box shapes
  • Kakuro

Kakuro is another grid-based type of puzzle: one that resembles the Crossword but played with numbers instead. They're commonly found in puzzle books and even some newspapers.

Telegraph Sudoku & Kakuro is scheduled for release in North America on 31st May at a very reasonable price of 200 points. A European date has yet to be confirmed, but it's likely to be towards the end of June.
