Review Black Tiger (Virtual Console / Virtual Console Arcade)
Ghosts 'n Goblins 'n Gimmicks
In 1985, Capcom released the infamous Ghosts 'n Goblins upon the world. Still regarded as one of the most challenging games ever made, it was a smash hit and cost many players many, many quarters as they died again and again. Although it would get a sequel eventually, after two years, Capcom decided to make a similar...

Action on land, sea and air
There's a definite airborne theme to this week's downloads, with rockets, meteors, fighter planes and passenger aircraft all featured across the three download channels. Let's take a look at what's available. WiiWare: Jam City Rollergirls (Frozen Codebase, 1000pts) – An arcade action take on the growing sport of roller...
Nintendo Download 21st January 2011 (Europe)
More Capcom classics
Virtual Console is the clear winner this week with two new Capcom arcade games, but that's not to say the rest should be ignored outright. Although WiiWare only gets one new download, DSiWare gets four of them, so hopefully there's something for everyone. WiiWare: Spot the Differences! (Sanuk Games, 500pts) – Another...

Currently, there are six titles scheduled for release in North America and Europe, and from the...

Finally some more arcade classics
It took a while, but Capcom has finally revealed that, yes, it is also planning to release a bunch of its arcade titles on the Virtual Console outside Japan. We already discovered some of the titles a while ago, but it's now added one more game to the list. Listed on a small poster in Capcom's booth at the Comic-Con...
News Even More Virtual Console Titles on the Way
Four more possible future retro releases
We only reported on a few potential Virtual Console games getting rated less than a week ago, but it's already time to report on even more of them. Since the last news post, the OFLC has rated two more classic titles which are very likely for Nintendo's beloved retro service, and in addition to that, we've...

Great action game if only too hard, just like Rygar. But luckily the VCA doesn't see you wasting quarters, so who cares?
Man, whoever recorded that needs a new video capture device. What a jerky mess.
Keeper, the thing about Rygar is that it doesn't let you continue for the last few levels which means its still very difficult, if not barely impossible to complete.
The shop mechanic reminds me of Forgotten Worlds. I'm liking the Rygar-ish action myself. Imma keep an eye on this one.
This game is the best!
totally forgot this game existed. One of my favorite arcade games back in the day. Sure hope this one gets a good review!
Hey, i remember this on my C64! Might get this. Cool game.
Of course the C64-version didn´t look like that.
Nice I like the game wasn't released on the consoles back in the day as far as I know.
Good to see Capcom release these games on VC Arcade its the ideal place for them
