Ore and Awe?
I've become so used to Nintendo taking its sweet time with DLC rollouts I assumed there was no way we'd get first-party add-ons within the first year of Switch 2. Happy Home Paradise, the Booster Course Pass and Side Order were all pleasantly surprising, not because of their packed bonus content (though that was a welcome factor), but...

Random Wait, Is Donkey Kong Bananza's DLC Hiding A Neat Namco Easter Egg?
High score!
There is a lot to be distracted by in the Donkey Kong Bananza DLC. It might be the beautifully reimagined DK Island, the fast and frantic Emerald Rush mode or... actually, that's about it. But those are two pretty distracting things! Distracting enough, we'd say, for a sneaky Easter Egg to slip under the radar. If you had asked us...
About The Game
In this paid DLC expansion, you’ll barrel around with Donkey Kong and Pauline on DK Island – the home of some familiar faces.
Once you’ve finished the main game’s story, Void Kong will offer you a position in Void Company collecting as much emerald ore as you can in Emerald Rush, both on DK Island and in Layers from the main game. In each run of this new mode, you’ll collect fossils to gain helpful Perks for different effects, and smash Banandium Gems to power up DK with different skills.
Play this mode to unlock new fashions, collectable statues that can be displayed on DK Island and more.

Very disappointing DLC and also frustrating. You can spend hours hoping for good RNG perks. If you're a parent DO NOT buy this DLC for your kids, as the difficulty is not for them (did Nintendo forget about the kids on this one?).
The challenge is nice but it's only fun when you get lucky. In all, a hard and tedious experience that most people won't want to 100% complete. Completionists just stay away from it.
