Topic: Which is better, Kirby's Dreamland 3 or Kirby 64?

I know I had a kirby topic before, but I'm trying to decide between these two specifically. What's your opinions and why?

I'd have to say from my experience playing them that Kirby's Adventure is the best because it keeps things simple and it's cheap for the content you get. But of course I've never played Dreamland 3. By the way, don't ever get Kirby 64 because it is overpriced and the worst Nintendo-made game I've ever played (OMG I hate typing on the Wii Internet Channel)

Get Dreamland 3. 64 was a disaster. Second worst Kirby Game.

I second the recommendation of Kirby's Adventure, although I know it isn't one of the ones you are asking about.

Over the years, there were some Kirby games I loved (Dreamland, Adventure, ...) and some I found to be monotonous with uninspired level designed (Dreamland 2, most newer games) -- I always wondered why there seemed to be two different strains of Kirby games with very different qualities. I think I've found the reason, and it's Masahiro Sakurai, the creator of Kirby. If you follow that link, you'll find the list of Kirby games he actually designed, and, as far as I'm concerned, this is the list of the best games in the series, while most of those not listed here are unbearably dull (but not all, surely):

• Kirby's Dream Land
• Kirby's Adventure
• Kirby's Pinball Land
• Kirby Super Star
• Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land
• Kirby Air Ride

I liked Kirby 64 more, it's longer, it has more challenge and replay value imo, since you have to collect the enemy cards, also I liked combining powers a lot; and in Dreamland 3, kirby was a bit slow.

I played both and i have to say kirby 64 is way better. Combining powers, good replay value, fun minigames and good soundtrack just makes it a greater game. Although kirby's dreamland 3 is not bad either with its level achievements and animal friends make it good too.

Yes, sometimes after you beat an enemy a card appears, you have an album where you keep these cards and check which ones you've got, there's one for every enemy and to get them all sometimes you have to replay levels.

I would say Kirby 64.

Actually the card appears at the end of the level, and as far as I know is completely random. Anyways 64 was ok, a bit easy but whatever...I did like the power combining thing in the game. Love the Spark+Cutter combo.

Kirby 64 is ahead so far. Anyone else?

Dreamland 3

@longtimegamer: Basically there is different stuff you have to do for each level for example in the first level you can't trample any flowers others levels have minigames some have collecting random things theres a lot of variety. Every level has one

Anymore opinions? They're about even so far (just counting the definate ones).

Dream Land 3

Kirby's Dream Land 3, imo, is the best Kirby game ever made. I've not yet played Kirby 64, but I'll bet it's not as bad as everyone claims it to be. So, Kirby's Dream Land 3 is your best bet. Three endings, unique visuals, cameo appearances, and Heart Stars to collect to gain the true ending. Plus, the music sounds fantastic.
