The final part of his epic look at the series is now up. He rightly continues his love affair with Super Castlevania 4 as well. It was almost as if he was reading my mind as he continually spoke of it's greatness. I don't think I could agree with him more on this particular series. Good job nerd!

[19:48] Ninten: lz, your avatar is weird. [19:48] Ninten: Reggie is like..."Duh, no Mother series for you Americans!" [19:49] lz2010: That was the point Ninten ;)
You know what I wish? I wish the AVGN would set up a backloggery account so we could see his entire collection of games. Sure it would take him 10 years to add his entire collection but reading his comments under each game would be funny.
I have to try Super Castlevania IV. I really enjoy Castlevania for NES. But I have to beat it before I get SC IV.
The first Castlevania I ever played was Circle of the Moon on GBA. Didn't like it, because it was just to confusing for me. I have no problem playing Metroid games. I didn't want to play a Castlevania game again, but then I downloaded the original and fell in love with it. I like getting a lil frustrated at games, but you get farther with every try and that makes u feel powerful ^^

I agree I found Circle of the Moon very confusing. I don't hate the game but its not one of my favorites.
Chicken, if you use regular output (not progressive scan, I always forget what each is called), it is very easy to find a convertor to display the image on a computer instead. I don't know how expensive they are nowadays, but I used to have one myself (not sure what happened to it, unfortunately). WiiWare is definitely well suited to such a project, unfortunately.
I would do it, but it would just turn into the Angry WiiWare Nerd Vs. BPlus every episode.
I'm Surprised that he hasn't mentioned Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia or at least showed the box art like the other two DS Castlevania games other then that i found his retrospective of the series 10 out of 10.
