So did anyone here actually download it?

I did. I'm reviewing it.

I'm in the minority, but I think its cool to see such a rare version of Street Fighter 2 show up on the VC.

I think I might actually download it. I already have the Genesis version and Turbo SNES version. So I think I will try this version too.

Why bother? Its a waste points if you already got the other two. Downloading the TG16 version offers nothing new over the Genesis and SNES versions.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

Perhaps he has interest in the pc engine. When it comes out over here I will get it for the 60hz factor..

If you're a European and wants 60hz for a Street Fighter II game, they should consider this. It also costs 700 Wii Points.

I'm considering this, even thought I have Super Street Fighter II: The New Challenger for the SNES and live in North America.

Its your money. I can think of many better things to do with it if it were mine. But its not.

For a PC Engine game it's a very good port. I highly recommend it. But it is hard to recommend if you already own the Turbo version on SNES or SPE on the Genesis.

Europe is getting this import title this week and its not even a Hanabi Festival which makes me think we're adopting the same approach to imports that America is and doing away with the Festivals.

If that means we get more imports then thats great news.

SFII has an Hanabi Festival symbol on its page, so we might be having another one now.

Final Fantasy for Xmas anyone?

I did, its a nice version - I added a comment to the review page.
Its a import certainly and I agree with Bass - that's cool if we are going to see more of them.

I don't think this SFII getting release indicates another import game release next week.

But as long as we get Super Mario Kart, I'll be glad to be proven wrong. We'll see what happens.

Yeah, just mean more imports would be good generally, at least they are 60Hz (except SEGA stuff).

I did, it's a grat port of my favorite CPSI Street fighter 2. Plus being an import it has some extras like blood and the four devas original names (like Mike Bison).
