Topic: Sega promotion on select VC titles

I just got into the Wii Shop Channel and saw this promotion. I hope this is not old, but I haven't seen it anywhere.
Starting December 24, Sega will be lowering the price of select Sega Genesis titles to 500 Wii Points. This includes games like Sonic the Hedgehogh 1,2 and 3, Gunstar Heroes, Shinning Force, and others. (I'm too lazy to go check on the full list)
This offer ends January 6.

Oh, and by the way, this offer is for the US (at least).

Sounds cool. I think I need Gunstar Heroes, Golden Axe, and then I'll need to give a quick look over Toe Jam and Earl and Streets of Rage 2.

Hopefully, it will. If you don't have Shining Force, I recommend looking into it! (If only the second made it onto the sale)

First demos and now a sale? It's like Nintendo is trying to be competitive or something

I'll need to go check my PS2 Sega Genesis Collection with 28 games on it that I bought for $12 new at Toys R Us (<50c a game) to see what I'm missing, and then read the reviews here see if anything is worth $5, but I think I'll buy at least 1 just to help the sales number (and my kids will have 500 points left after buying Pokemon rumble).

Sweet! I can finally pick up Shining Force later on during the holidays. Nintendo and Hudson need to do the same thing for N64 and Turbo-Graphx 16 games, respectively.

I loved the second Shining Force game, so I might buy the first one. The other games I'm not too interested in, except maybe Gunstar Heroes.

Has anyone been able to confirm the existence of this promotion outside America?
