I don't really think it's the Wii No Ma channel. Japan already has it and bboy said the Japanese DSiShop was down also... Nintendo, what are you planning?!?! O_o

LOL! Same here Machu. I just bought some points for Lost Winds 2 and as soon as I go to download it BAM, I get hit with this. This is starting to look like something big since all regions are apparently getting this message and the fact that it is appearing on both Wii and DSi shops.

I have not had my Wii on in almost a week. I got the maintenance thing also. I have been busy playing the 64 and GBA the past week. I hope they are getting us our free NES game and it would be nice if they make us some new channels .

Thanks! As for the big "surprise" that Nintendo is talking about, it's probably something small that most people won't care about. Ya, my self esteem for Nintendo actually doing something that's related to the Wii down-loadable software that people will care about is very low right now.
