I think it's more comfortable with the jacket, though it's a pain to take it off for MK Wii. My Wii came with them though, so maybe I'm just used to it. I also like the extra protection, since I tend to take out excess frustration with games onto the controller. I could hit it for hours without hurting myself or the controller, so that's a win for me.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.

As a huge fan of Opoona, I feel real bad now, that I didn't dig around a little before posting. =(

unless a little kid is playing the wii, there is no reason to use either( uncomfortable and annoying)

I always use the wrist strap when playing wiichuck but don't use it when playing NES style. That's just how it feels comfortable to me.

I don't use a wrist strap and don't even own a "condom" cover for the Wiimote. Though i do have to use the Motion+ cover dealy when playing Red Steel 2 (which i criminally have not played in quite some time), at least until i finally get one of those new Wiimotes.

When I first bought my Wii (which came with the straps and rubbers) I thought "Pffft no way!" and hucked 'em.

But I've since switched both of my controllers to new Wiimote+ controllers, which came with the straps and condoms again... and I've been using them ever since. Even sliding that strap around my wrist when playing a NES game. I don't really have a reason, just suddenly felt like using them.

Just be aware that some games that are played with a sideways Wiimote, Sonic 4 for example, can cause hand and/or wrist cramping if you play without the cover.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

I have to admit that is is more comfortable with the jacket on when playing with the Wii Remote on it's side but I'm too lazy to be bothered with it due to battery changes.

I was going to post pictures of another game and then I realised with gratitude that that game will never be released on VC.

I like using the strap and a wii remote without the cover...shudder I have no idea how that could even work

I don't own a jacket, but in the plenty of times I've used a Wiimote with it on, I've never had a problem with it. I use the wrist straps, but they're the original release ones without the lock. My Wiimote can have so much added on to it it's ridiculous, but I still don't have too much of a problem with them.

I'm pretty sure I think I'm funnier than I really am.
