What do you think? Will we see the Wii version or not? Currently it's not listed, but there was no official announcement.
So ends a saga older than time itself. The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the field of conflict the dinosaurs disperse, hoping never to set foot in this place a...
The trailer was... interesting. I had no clue what was going on, but I think they finally added vehicles. If you pause at a certain point, I think it shows a helicopter from a first person point of view.
Either way, I'm skipping this and getting Medal of Honor.
The Game.
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.
Yeah, there's probably going to be a Wii version. Like what RWP said, Treyarch usually does make a Wii version of Call of Duty games they're working on. As for my few cents on COD7:BO, I like the idea but I fear that it will firmly stay where the COD series has always been; focusing on multiplayer over the single player experience. While I respect that games will always earn more playing time in multiplayer (competing against human players is far more thrilling than against AI bots), I feel that the COD games focus on that aspect too much.

It's a no-brainer. There have been three CoD games released for the Wii and they've all sold over a million units; this is despite being late, cut-down and without much in the way of specific marketing. With such an obvious cash cow on offer, Activision would be foolish not to make a Wii version. However, that's not to say that it'll come out as soon as the other versions or be anything like as good.
@Matt_B, this is a good point you're making. Didn't Call of Duty 3 and Call of Duty WaW come at the same time with the 360/PS3? If not, then it's all right that it hasn't been announced. Surprisingly, nobody made mention of this fact. The other version would use the regular controller, so for me the Wii version is immediately much better.

I think it was a matter of days/weeks for those rather than the two years it took for MW to come to the Wii. Still, that doesn't necessarily mean anything; I suppose there's a possibility that MW2 might be ported first in which case we might end up with a long wait for the new game.
It's certainly the case that the games are making good money on the Wii though, and on that basis we should be getting more of them. Perhaps we might even see a game designed from the ground up for the Wii, although please don't let it be another rail shooter.
I'd think so. I mean, it's Treyarch who has a lot less of a problem making a game for the Wii than Infinity Ward did. I'd expect an announcement soon. Who knows, maybe even part of Nintendo's E3. Although WaW wasn't nearly as good as the its HD counterparts, it was an admirable job and I enjoyed it while I played it...controlled better IMO.
really, where? http://callofduty.com/blackops/ Treyarch said that they didn't announce platforms yet (I wonder why... that does suggest that it's not... final)

It is a Treyarch game so I guess we will have a Wii version. Infinity Ward is the other developer that doesn't have the resources to do a Wii game (Treyarch was responsible for adapting MW to the Wii).
I don't see why it wouldn't, there's nothing to lose from it.
I also think Treyarch might like the fact that they get quite a bit of appreciation from the Wii side because they get a lot of unfair hate.

It will come. The question is when. Why would they release Black Ops before MW2. That does`nt make sence. To answer the statement it better be better then the other hd versions . How; this is the wii its not an hd system. Its going to have worse graphics but should controll better as i perfer to point and shoot.
MW2 native resolution was 600p. I think people expect this to be on Wii now because it's Treyarch (who makes Wii versions) and it's a classic Call of Duty, and not the Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare series.
