Do you want Yoshi's Island creation tools in Super Mario Maker? I mean, Nintendo already used the Baby Bowser sprite from Yoshi's Island for Super Mario World in Mario Maker. Might as well put YI.
Technically, Yoshi's Island is Super Mario World 2. What do you guys think? I think it would be very awesome.
Don't know how that would work, considering how the mechanics, physics, and assets are so different from any Mario game. There's a good reason why Yoshi's Island is more considered the first in the Yoshi series of platformers instead of a sequel to Super Mario World.
The sprite used for Bowser Jr. definitely isn't the Baby Bowser sprite in Yoshi's Island. My gripe is that without slopes it is very tough to create a Yoshi's Island level.
I would really like a Yoshi's island level creator, as the level design of that game was sublime, but many changes to Super Mario Maker would likely be needed for it to happen.
YI is too different from every other Mario game included in Mario Maker for it to work.
Maybe just as a graphical pack, without actually adding any mechanics
Also, what's that about the chip, this is about Mario Maker, not virtual console. The physical components of the original game's cartridge are completely irrelevant.
