I don't know what's happening, but in a matter of one week, the price for a ton of WiiU games has been slashed by half on both Amazon and GameStop here in Italy - even stuff that shouldn't drop in price, like first party titles.
Amazon has Splatoon, Captain Toad and Kirby and the Rainbow Curse for €24.
GameStop has Bayo2 for €19.00 and Hyrule Warriors for €24.
The amazon price drop is particularly surprising because those are all first party titles released in recent months.
I got myself a copy of Toad and one of Kirby instead of getting Devil's Third - if that's the way it is going to be, chances are I'll get D3rd for a fraction of its original price well before the end of the year.

It isn't exclusive to Wii U games, but Target is once again doing the buy two, get one free sale like they do every year around this time. The sale is for all games across all platforms. It starts this Sunday and runs for a week.

Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
I just bought Yoshi's Woolly World WITH Yarn Yoshi (Green) Amiibo from Amazon.co.uk for £28.70 (using Flubit - never used it before but it took nearly £5 off the price for me).
Argos is an annoying retailer because you have to run a search for stock in your area, and many of the good prices are virtually impossible to actually find copies of, but it continues to list the item as normal.
That Bayonetta 2 price though - WTF doesn't everybody have a copy at that price?
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
^Bayonatta 2 is probably due to everyone who wants it buys the 1+2 bundle rather than 2 solo version. Still a good deal though especially with renewed interest in Bayonetta thanks to Smash.
