Does anyone know if there is going to be a Special Edition for Super Smash Bros for Wii U? I know there is going to be one for the 3DS, but will it be a Wii U version as well? No, I don't mean like a Smash Bros themed Wii U, but maybe a package with: one copy of Super Smash Bros, a Wii U GameCube controller adapter and a Special Edition Smash Bros GameCube controller. I have heard this from someone, but what do you think about this idea???

The rest of the world might get it a week after Christmas,a t least is what I think
No, I believe November 21st will be our release date. Japan will likely get it a couple weeks earlier. If Nintendo holds off on releasing beyond that date (and even after Christmas), it'd be the epitome of missing the boat.

Hmmmm...good point. In that case, Nintendo should release the game no later than December 12th, for us. Any later than that is a bad idea.

I have a question I hope you can help will the control be exactly the same button layout and weight etc as an original?? And also do you know if there will be any special editions?? GameCube hadssome great special edition controls I'm fine with my traditional purple one but it would be cool to have a special edition with some designs on them

but considering we will get the game on october 3rd... that's 49-50 days to November 21st...
I know it would be self destructive if Nintendo releases the game a week or two before Christmas, but I dunno...
i'm kinda confused because:
1.- I dunno if it would be convenient for Nintendo to announce the game to be released between October 3rd and November 21st (in japan), seems kinda rushed, since there is less than 2 months, besides, it is not a worldwide release, so I doubt there will be less than a week between both versions (jpn and the rest of the world)
2.- This is kinda not as important (since they announce them days before their release) , but I guess the release date will be announced on a Nintendo direct, together with some new features the wii u version will include, which could be in mid-October...but if japan will get the game before us... it might be the first days of November.
3.- I somehow believe we should have a release date at least 1 month before the actual date, so for example, for us, should be announced at least by October 21st.. but what about japan?
I dunno, I have my doubts regarding how they will handle the release date .__.
