What is funny about the end of the Mewtwo trailer?

I noticed that too, like the second time I saw it. Its easy to miss the first time. Is that a reference to something? Like some gag in the pokemon movie?

I laughed at ness sneaking up on mewtwo with a master ball.

People had that exact theory when new characters were still being revealed for Smash4. Turns out the blanket spots mean absolutely nothing. They just show up.

Who else hated the way Ness was thrashed in Lucas' reveal trailer? I'm not even a Ness main!

True, and if your on mobile the spots disappear.

I thought it was great to see Lucas come to Ness's aid for once instead of the other way around. Lucas was portrayed so pathetically in Brawl...I mean, getting snagged on a tree branch in the ground? Weak. It was nice seeing Lucas get some redemption, as if he grew as a character since Brawl.

I thought it was a root or a vine or something...lol
EDIT: Also, took me a moment to figure out what you meant by blank spots. Yeah, I think that has always been like that, they're just there.

Whatever. Point is he tripped on it like a scared little noob and Ness had to come to his rescue. It's good to see him displaying some more confidence this time around.

Eh, who cares, Lucas still kicked butt in Brawl. (when I played as him anyways. )

So glad an old main I'd just about given up hope on is returning.

And I just love his PK Fire, annoying people with it and trying to push them off the stage. xp
And thanks to the trailer, I just found out both Mother boys can reflect projectiles. lol

But that was the whole story of the reveal trailer, that Ness spent all that time in Smash 4 by himself and Lucas returned stronger to help him just like Ness did in Brawl. Even if there's no story mode they have been sneaking little character moments in the trailers, just this one was an overt reference to an event in Subspace.

What's the song that plays at the end of Lucas' trailer? I don't recall ever hearing it in Smash U...

Kirby's Crazy Appetite is, from what it looks like, near impossible to complete in Event Mode on Hard, which is what it's asking from you to get the reward. You can't use customs either.
