@TheXReturns: Cuz I think you were saying c'mon to my location when I was still hiding in Arowana Mall. Plus, at the end of that last one, we were all fighting.
I've been testing a new set with just one damage up and a few more quick super jumps as well as 4 special saver subs.
I'll have to try it out more with the update to see how much special saver does and if the 6% faster charge time, but I have had a couple hits that weren't kills which would have been with an extra damage up. Although in some of them I'm not sure if my shot would have enough range after the next update.
Still a little undecided on what I want to use though. Also the extra damage also comes in handy when dealing with others up close which reduced range wouldn't affect.
Actually may be best to stick with double strength mains for E-liters. Other abilities may be useful, but strength ups is basically what the Eliter needs the most. I have seen many good Eliters that stack 2-3 Strength mains with on average 6 strength subs
I have been wondering which is better to use for ranked: Comeback or Last Ditch Effort. Since I die a lot in Ranked, Comeback is in effect for a long duration of the game.. but Last Ditch Effort could potentially be active for the rest of the game when you're in overtime or the enemy team is under 30..
Both give ink efficiency/recovery but Comeback also gives a speed boost as well. Thoughts?
@Platina ya I have always used at least 2 damage ups, but I'll try to test just one out some more with the update.
I haven't really used either much, with the buffs last ditch effort does sound like it will be pretty useful. And while it won't work until the enemy team reaches 30 points or the timer gets to 30 seconds, it will last passed the 20 seconds after you respawn.
@PikminFan22 I'm kind of busy right now, but I might have some time in an hour or so.
I may also be able to play to help test it out, but I believe you can hear the enemy swimming, even with ninja squid. I do recall being able to hear an enemy trying to sneak up behind me, but may have just hear the roller sounds itself..
@Platina ya I know that you can at least hear them if they swim fast enough. I can't completely remember if it's the same for Ninja Squid. If you aren't moving while in squid form then you can faintly hear what sounds like bubbles or something. It probably won't be that useful in regular play, but I've sometimes been able to hear someone hiding while playing hide and go seek. Another thing I want to test out is if you can hear someone that is moving slowly since the bubbling sound only occurs when you aren't moving at all and I don't think I heard myself when I moved slowly.
I think I'll stop playing competitively after the splatournament. I need to play other games, and most importantly, I need to go create some stuff like music and SMM levels that've been in my head for a while now. I'll come back someday though, this game is so addictive.
