Is it possible to play Mario Kart 8 with only Wii Remotes? When trying, the Wii U gamepad is always first, with paired Wii Remotes after that. Cannot figure out how to remove or not use the gamepad. Thanks
@mlc9 Yeah you can play the entire game with a Wii Remote if you wanted to. Thanks to a system update, you can totally ignore the GamePad and use any other controllers (like Wii Remotes and Wii U Pro Controllers) paired to the Wii U console instead. You will have to go to the home menu to turn off the GamePad display though (press the home button to access it).
