Topic: If you could only pick one franchise...

Most that I'd really like are already mentioned or even on their way (X, Bayonetta 2, SSB,...), but let's not forget Madworld, Eternal Darkness (yes I'd still want that), No More Heroes, Red Steel, Deadly Creatures, Zack and Wiki, Fragile dreams,...

And perhaps more farfetched, but Big Bang Mini, the Japan only Blood of Bahamut, Aliens Infestation, and the Dementium series, all for DS originally; Secret of Evermore for SNES; Boktai, Golden Sun, and classic Advance Wars (I'd welcome Battalion Wars with open arms as well), as seen on GBA. To name a few that sticked with me. Take your pick!

edit: how could I forget the game I'm currently playing via a number of detours: Sweet Home, for the Famicom in Japan! Never gonna happen though

F-Zero

Only one? Weeeell if RPGs and side games are included I'd pick Mario.

Super Monkey Ball....so long as it was like the original two games and not like the Wii version. Analog stick control as the PRIMARY input. Maybe touch screen/tilting for alternative control schemes just for fun, but the game shouldn't be based around those.

I heard that Miyamoto was surprised to hear that this was one of the most wanted games, I think in France. I'd love to see a new one, but it seems like Nintendo wasn't even thinking about making a new one any time soon. Doesn't mean it won't happen though, all we can do is cross our fingers.

Solar Striker.

Hudsonsoft went out of business (I Think?) and most of its assets went to Konami. Konami, the company that mostly makes Castlevania and Metal Gear Solid these days...

I'd love to see a sequel to Okami developed for the Wii U.

what are you talking about, they haven't made a new Castlevania game since 2008.

Also, I like how two Metal Gear Solid games are in development right now (after they said MGS4 was the last one...) while we still haven't seen anything about that new Zone of the Enders Kojima has been talking about.

Custom Robo

-Online
-individually colored/patterned parts
-A feature to actually make a Robo from scratch (instead of picking the 'Ray', 'Tempest', etc. body type)
-Could easily be a download-only game

Star Fox, developed by Nintendo EAD, and don’t make it some stupid strategy or off-shoot game.

Metroid on Wii U intrigues me.

I gotta go with Star Fox this time. They could have done something neat with the Wii, but they didn't. Now the technology has jumped ahead and it would be really cool to see a return to Star Fox and see how vibrant it could be.

F-Zero, Wave Race and Metriod are also on that list. There's no doubt in my mind that Metriod Wii U will happen eventually. It's not like the other three where we haven't seen any core additions since the Gamecube..

I'm totally willing to accept a new Retro Studios Metroid....but I'm still really missing the 2D Metroids, I'd love one at least on the 3DS. And yeah Gamecube: Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Wii: Metroid Prime 3, Trilogy, Other M.

Mario Galaxy (sub-series I know)

I DO hope Metroid returns to Wii U...but Star Fox and F-Zero deserve some recognition. Probably F-Zero though, since it sat out last generation (at least Star Fox got a DS game)

For a third party though, No More Heroes! I really hope Suda 51 makes something for a Nintendo console again.
