zelda. honestly, i am a huge zelda fan, but the way that recent games have turned out (looking at SS, ALBW, & TP), its time to bury the casket already.

ALBW and TP were phenomenal. SS...I'll give you that.

That being said, I'd try to convince them to scrap like half of anything Mario. It's literally impossible for me to get hyped up about a Mario game anymore. They've literally milked out my interest along with those 4-5 games they release per year.

N+? VVVVVV? Super Meat Boy? Nin-2Jump? Mega Man? Castlevania?

The NES Mega Man and Castlevania installments are, to my opinion, inspired by Super Mario Bros. Mega Man even had a fighting arcade game before it's NES debut, I even played it. I'm sure that Capcom looked at Super Mario Bros. and how the aspects of gameplay were used greatly and decided to make Mega Man a platformer. It worked out great, even with the intense difficulty. I could say the same thing about Castlevania. N+, VVVVVV, and Super Meat Boy are those different types of platformers to me. They feel more like puzzle games to me where you have to keep on trying to get the correct sequence in order to beat the level. I don't even know what N-2Jump is, but it sounds like the other three just listed.

Now that all the systems are destroyed SEGA ain't got nothing to make games on anyway... Although that means the Dreamcast 2 will finally rise and wow us with it's awesomeness

I've got to admit Sega makes some really good games(and had the best console names yet)

TP focussed too much on the story, and wasn't that good. the story also put the gameplay to a grinding halt (the beginning of the game, specifically). gameplay wise, it was trying to be OoT 2.0 . ALBW had terrible dungeons and the renting system failed to amuse. ALBW isn't good and TP is a copycat that tries too hard to tell a story. i've said it before, but frankly nintendo are better game makers than they are story tellers, and TP and SS give the feeling that Zelda games are going to become story-heavy.

This is becoming depressing. I'm just going to assume every post is a troll post, and nobody here actually has these terrible opinions.

Rule number one of the internet: Everything is exaggerated.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

Same could be said about your posts. A thread like this is going to serve to offend diehard fans of certain series.

I know this is cheating but any new 2D Mario and Donkey Kong platformers. They don't make proper use of modern technology, are overpriced, unoriginal, and easily beaten in all categories except graphics (which still aren't very special) by 20 year old games. The "side-scrolling revival" is getting really, really old.

While I don't disagree that the 2D Mario and Donkey Kong Country games need to die in a fire, the problem isn't any of things you mentioned, since those aren't problems. No, their problem is that neither series were ever good in the first place, and the "Side Scrolling revival" has done nothing but emphasize this by the sheer amount of quality 2D Platformers that have far outshined these games.

That's just like your opinion, man.
Super Mario World still > than virtually every Indie or Rayman 2D platformer.

It's an old genre that Indie devs, Nintendo, and Ubisoft milk because they're cheap to make. It's outdated and overused , we got out of 2D platformers on consoles in the late 90's, not happy that they're remotely back and that the "Mario 3D" side-series takes notes from them. We had 3D Rayman and Donkey Kong games in 1999, great games too.

First Off: That is also your opinion. Unfortunately, your opinion is wrong. Garbage>Super Mario World. This is well known opinionated fact located under article 32 of the True Facts Compendium, aka the "Oxymoron Clause", enacted in January 33rd of 1999. (Conveniently located by article 31 "Wikipedia is Thuth" and Article 33 "All Toasters do Indeed Toast Toast")

Speaking of which, Rayman Legends wins all the games.

Secondly 3D Donkey Kong is crap, unless you enjoy having to go through the same area 5 times just to collect the different colored bananas. In which case you enjoy crap.

There's your edumication for the day.

I have no excuse, nobody needs an excuse. It's an opinion. If you didn't mean anything that you said, then what was the point of saying it? If you believe what @WhereEaglesDare finds so funny, it's not trolling.
