hi this is to discuss ideas about a new software update
And with enough help we can possibly get these patches
So recently I saw the new 4.0 wii u patch some was interesting and most meh so basically my ideas *note I will email these to Nintendo and if you email it will help right so one more thing before my ideas come up if you like some ideas just reply to them and say something nice like agree
Yeah
Cool
Ect ect so I can point out the most popular ones or if you have the same idea as someone and it's already up feel free to put it up any way )
Right so first one simple one achievements
And a party chat thing we all know video chat it would be cool if it would act a bit more like Skype but you can call some one while in a game
And in party and if possible mobiles so it would be cool if could really use the game pad camera to its advantages so like
Record while playing a game face cam purposes
Call some one in game
So say I'm playing some zombi u
And my friend blops 2 and I want to call him during playing both so say without quitting my game
I go into video chat press home it comes up 2 options come up
Continue call or
Hang up
Press continue call take to home screen and play zombi u and a small button some where you don't need on the game pad
You can press any time to bring up the face cams and of course you choose the size that's all I have can't wait to see replies thanks for reading
I am really happy with the tweaks that came from today's update, but one thing I would really like to see get added is some sort of notification system. A couple of my friends recently got Wii U's and we have been using Miiverse a lot to plan when to play online. The issue I've come across is that if I'm already playing a game and someone messages me, unless I notice the brief flash of light around the Gamepad's Home button, I have no way of knowing that someone messaged me. A simple on screen "You have a message" notification (displayed on both the TV and Gamepad screen in case the user is using off TV play) would alleviate this.
1. a account based NNID system rather than the current one thats locked to our individual consoles.
2. going with the recent update that allows us to use the gamepad as a second screen in wii mode, i'd like to use the wii u pro controller on there for snes/n64 and certain wii games, wishful thinking i know, and yes i also know i can hook up my original wii and use GCN controllers for that but still its the thought that counts here, or the idea.
3. N64 games on the Wii U VC, and maybe GCN games as well, if Nintendo doesn't plan to give us HD-upgraded versions of them over the course of the Wii U's lifespan (talking GCN here) .

Totally agree! If I have to go a bit further I would say, separate messaging friends from the MiiVerse and use a separate function for this. This function could message you in game with a pop up, that you have a message. It should have like no loading time. The MiiVerse, as fast it is right now, is still too slow for just checking quickly the message.
SCAR392 is always talking about possible "updates" to the Wii-U OS that would unlock the untapped power of the console, thus making it on par with the powerhouse PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
... like on 3DS ability to make folders OR increase the cap: at least double the channels and add an option to jump to a page directly instead of scrolling through 40 pages
... like on 3DS ability to switch channels around
... If any of these limits are in the Wii U menu as well, apply all of this there as well of course.
Wii Memory Update
... A new data management option: Automatic.
... Game first checks if save data is available on Wii Memory like usual. If save data is found on Wii Memory game is booted up.
If there is no save data on Wii Memory, the game checks if save data is on SD Card. If save data is there, it automatically transfers it over to Wii Memory (transfering something else on SD Card beforehand to make room). Will save you hours in the long run!
... Checks for DLC as well.
... This would make data management so much easier (especially if you have hundreds of Wii, VC and WiiWare games and want to keep their data available at all times but not enough Wii Memory).
Regularly searching through save data of 400+ unorganizable games in the data management menu and shifting them around manually often gets in the way of a quick pick up & play round with friends and is one of the bitter sides of the console.
Both updates could be made EASILY. And they would be of so much use!
