Topic: Hyrule Warriors (& Legends) - OT

This kind of puts Kid Icarus in an awkward position. I thought for sure that would be Nintendo's new action hack'n'Slash franchise...

to be fair, Kid Icarus: Uprising is borderline impossible to fully replace, unless you can also name a cinematic shoot-em-up hack n slash 3rd person shooter comedy game?

I find Kid Icarus: Uprising closer to an on-rail shooter with third person segments thrown in than an actual hack-and-slash game.

@kkslidr5552000 Agreed and KI: U has talking while Link prolly won't even talk in Hyrule Warriors.... Big difference there. Pit has Palutena and others to tease him. All Link has to tease him is Midna and Zelda.

I wonder if there is going to be multiplayer and whether it will have online.

Throw in Wolf Link and Sheik as playable characters and watch the hype for this game crash through the roof.

Seeing that logo makes me wonder if the scarf(?) Link wears has some sort of purpose or if it's just there for decoration.

Anybody else reminded of the Link from the Skyward Sword Manga by the scarf and shoulder armour?

Even One Piece: Pirate Warriors (PS3) has online. But will just have to wait & see.

@ShadowFox254 If does have online they better not make it region specific like Mario Tennis Open cause the Wii U hasn't sold enough for that method.

@Jazzer94: My guess it will be like how Capcom did MH3U (Wii U): America & Europe together, but leaving Japan only.

But seeing Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper (Wii U) online wasn't restricted, then IDK.

Ok I would be fine with America and Europe online, don't have Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper so didn't know about how online worked on that game so thanks for the info.

I really like Dynasty Warriors and similar games so I'll be keeping an eye on this. That trailer is ROUGH though. I dont think I've ever seen a trailer that was as blatantly rushed as this one.
