Topic: Hyrule Warriors (& Legends) - OT

Update: Only have 1 Agitha A rank left and then I've 100% completed Termina Map (and as a result the entirety of Adventure mode).

I've done it, 100% completion of the Adventure maps! All that's left for true 100% completion of the whole game is some challenge mode stuff.

Congrats! That's the WiiU game, right?

I can hardly get around the first adventure map in that one.

On Legends, I'm only four squares away from clearing (not 100%ing) the master quest map, also I'm only missing Cia's third weapon to un-unlock the first master sword skill.

@Meowpheel Yeah, as for Legends I'm focusing on the Legends exclusive stuff so I went through the first adventure map as quickly as possible to get to the Great Sea map and after that went onto the Master Wind Waker map. It seems at least from the Master Wind Waker map that the balancing (e.g. some stages let you use multiple characters, owl statues, level 99 limit rather than cap increase) makes it reasonable to go through DLC maps before completing certain maps on the cart from launch.

From what I've heard, the master wind waker map ramps up the difficulty considerably around the red areas.

Maybe you'll need the level three weapons of a few characters.

Edit: woo I beat the master quest map! I think I'll now progress on the mww map to get Medli's rank 3 weapon and then start working on the Termina & Twilight maps.

They're smaller than I imagined.

The two Dark Imprisoneds are such a pain. >_<

If you have the skull kid, his lazer beam (attack-attack-combo) completley destroys the imprisoned's toes.

Does anyone know how you unlock the Spinner weapon in the 3DS version? I tried scanning my Link amiibo but it didn't work, which I'm 99% sure is how I got it on the Wii U.

Yup, you unlock the level one spinner in the first map.

Talking about it, I got a Link Amiibo, so now I have it on the WiiU too.

Ooohhhh obtaining the spotpass fairy adds a permanent slot to My Fairy, that's nice.

The fairy herself... She seems a bit useless :/

I attacked a boss with a weak-point smash and the spinning slash didn't go away.

Will the Marin DLC be for Wii U also?

@ZeldAlice Yeah but less in terms of quantity. 3DS gets:

• Marin + Marin's weapon
• New weapon for Linkle
• Koholint adventure map
• 30 My Fairy outfits

Whereas Wii U only get the first 2 (Marin, Marin's weapon and a new weapon for Linkle).

If I get the DLC for the Wii U, what will happen with Linkle's weapon as I don't even have Linkle?

@ZeldAlice You'll have Linkle playable but only with her new weapon, not the crossbows.

Woaw, so even if I don't have a 3DS with Hyrule Warrior's Legends, I'll still have Linkle playable with this DLC?

Technically, every weapon is a different character.

But yeah, you'll have Linkle even if you don't have her classic weapon.

Same with Toon Link when his new weapon arrives with the PH&ST pack.

First off, Marin? I mean, I'm not complaining, but...I think they actually one-upped the Bug Girl in terms of randomness here.

Second of all, when are the Legends characters coming to the Wii U?

Well, there aren't that many important & unique characters to use from Link's Awakening. (Also, Marin went on to become a regular of the series in the form of Malon, so I guess her design will also be easily recognizable because of that).

Maybe if they had based the dlc pack on the Oracle games...

About the Legends character pack, I'm not sure... Probably around the same time as the LA pack.
